This traditional farm cottage is a wonderful place to escape to; it is the ideal base for a holiday full of walking and cycling or simply to enjoy the quiet, rural location and views.  
  
Ideal for families and small groups, the cottage, which has recently been refurbished and modernised, comprises a double bedroom, bunk bedroom, a bathroom with over bath shower, a fully equipped modern kitchen with hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee maker, a private enclosed driveway and a peaceful garden where you can enjoy the views of the countryside. A folding table and 4 chairs give you the option of having a small eating area in the lounge if you wish.  
  
With ample parking provided and generous storage space for golf clubs, bikes and outdoor gear, you will be hard pushed to find a better property for enjoying the Scottish outdoors.

#### A beautiful place to stay.

Me, my husband and our two dogs came for a getaway. We were very pleased with the location, cleanliness and overall look of the property, the welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The location of the property is great for getting the dogs out for long walks. Thank you so much for being such a great host, we will definitely be back.

#### Beautiful Cottage!

We loved staying at Wilson's Cottage. The views of the farm, the location just out of town but within 5 minutes of amenities, and the cleanliness was perfect for our family. We appreciated having a washing machine and space for our family of 5 to sleep. We hope to be back one day!

#### Cozy cottage

This is a warm and cozy cottage with all the comforts of home. Although it feels way out in the country with fields surrounding the property it actually only minutes away from Historic Falkirk, shops and motorways. It was a surprise to hear the neighbors upstairs from the adjoining property however it didn't detract from enjoying our stay.

#### Beautiful and quiet

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Perfect location for catching the train to Edinburgh and a quick drive to Stirling. Our host was quick to respond to a very minor issue that was rectified the same day. The cottage is on a beautiful property, loved watching the cows walk by the fence line. We would love to return!

#### Lovely cosy cottage

The cottage is very clean and comfortable. A bit out of the way, you need a car to get there and the farm road is not in great condition. The cottage is lovely, very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. A bit expensive, as most accommodation is in Scotland unfortunately. We really enjoyed our stay, waking up to lovely views and little deer in the field!

This was our second stay at Wilson’s cottage & our return visit 12 months after the first didn’t disappoint. A warm & cosy retreat close to all the attractions of Falkirk (Callendar park, Falkirk wheel & the Kelpies). I’m sure we will return again.

#### Home

When we travel we stay away from big hotels and busy cities. Love to visit them but prefer quieter areas. We see roads and want to know where they go, so when we came across Wilson Cottage it sounded perfect. It was warm and cozy and just the perfect size for us. The views were beautiful. Unfortunately a heavy rain storm came in but the little cottage kept us warm and dry. We did need a little help understanding the heating system but everyone was helpful and so kind. They made sure we safe and sound and dry. We would definitely come back to Wilson Cottage in the future should we be fortunate to return to Scotland.

#### Comfortable cottage and interesting location

The facilities were very good for two adults and would be great for a family. There was plenty of storage room and the kitchen was well appointed. The views were stunning and being on a working farm made it very interesting. It was comfortable except for the dinning chairs.

We had booked Wilson’s cottage in order to be a short distance from Callendar Park for an event we were attending. The location did not disappoint! Easy access by bike to Callendar Park, the Falkirk Wheel & the Kelpies, not to mention the trails of the Callendar estate. We would definitely book again.
