"The room was so hot it was impossible to sleep and nobody seemed to care they gave me a fan that was broken and the refrigerator didn't work the whole place just felt down on its heels I've been there before and I was shocked at the difference"

"Breakfast buffet had more than enough choices. We had to wait several hours before going to the airport. The bar breakfast area very pleasant for relaxing and playing cards. The staff went overboard and took us to the,airport in the shulttle, even though it was not scheduled to run on Saturday afternoon. I would stay there again. "

"Not sound proof. Our windows was not airtight as cold air was getting in through the small gaps around the window frame."

"Basic, clean accommodation very near the airport. There were two coffee machines in the lobby but couldn’t get either to work."

"Easy to get to from the airport, easy to check in and park. However, the room itself was a bit dated and the bathroom situation is WEIRD. There was a tiny sink next to the bed and a toilet with shower behind about 2.2m tall partition meaning all the sound and smell is literally next to bed. Also, the window was not closing properly, so there was a bit of a draft. Common areas were basic and totally fine. Perhaps an okay stay for one but wouldn't recommend otherwise "

"The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking a large meal for four. There is a supermarket within a 20 minute drive and a few restaurants. The lodge itself was lovely and warm and ideal for a quiet evening trying to see the northern lights. It was perfect for our last two nights in Iceland as it's 30 mins from the Blue Lagoon and 13 minutes to the airport. Will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Iceland."

"Nice place. Website says it offers airport shuttle but it’s not really available. It was good for a night getting into Iceland."
