It has every amenity you can imagine to enjoy yourself inside and outside. The great room has floor to ceiling windows that span both upstairs and downstairs to enjoy the mountain views. The Game room comes equipped with a Pool Table and TV. You can ski or hike all day, and relax at night with a movie or a soak in the gorgeous hot tub. When it is rainy or cold outside, you have lots of indoor entertainment options. Lunar View Lodge has 3 spacious private bedrooms. The master suite which is located on the main level, is magnificent. It has a king size bed, a large flat screen TV with Roku for streaming and Blue Ray player. The bed has luxurious new linens and lots of storage room in the dressers and closet. A second bedroom is located on the main level which, has a full size bed and is cozy and intimate, with plenty of dresser and closet space. The third bedroom is on the lower level. This room also has a queen size bed with a smart television and speakers. The game room has a Queen Sofa Sleeper. There is a full size bath on this level as well. The living room is a large open room with a vaulted ceiling, two comfortable couches and an easy chair. You can enjoy the floor to ceiling views from the two-story windows. The new flat screen TV has a Blue Ray player. You can also connect to your Netflix account to watch movies. The telescope can be used inside or out on the deck. Please place it inside when you finish using it. The home has a full size kitchen with everything you will need to cook your favorite meals. It is open to the dining area and the living room so that you can chat with your friends and family while cooking an amazing meal. The dining table seats 8 people with 2 more at the kitchen island. All the necessary cooking utensils and dishes are provided. There is a laundry room with a full size front loading washer and dryer downstairs. There is a recreation / billiards room on the lower level with a new full-size pool table and 1/2 kitchen bar with its own sink, microwave, and refrigerator. This recreation room also has a large TV where you can watch streaming television or hook up to your Netflix account to have an immersive movie experience. Outside under the deck, there is a large hot tub. You can still enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains, forest, and stars while being covered from the snow or rain. The upper deck has fabulous outdoor seating and a new gas grill. You can bring the telescope out to watch the night sky or gaze up close at the wildlife and the beautiful mountain views. The home is surrounded by pine and spruce trees. You can hike around the property or take a leisurely walk up the mountain roads to National Forest which offers great outdoor hiking trails. If you are fortunate enough to come in the winter, there is world class skiing and boarding at Breckenridge, Keystone, and A-Basin. Breckenridge is a 20 mile drive from the home. Breckenridge has fabulous shopping and restaurants too. You can leave early and ski or board all day and be back at the home for an evening relaxing in the hot tub. Please be advised that elevation and weather should be considered when deciding if this location is appropriate. \* Guests are required to have a four-wheel drive vehicle with adequate snow tires or chains during the winter months from November through May. The area is subject to frequent unpredictable and adverse weather conditions which can make travel difficult. \* This home is located in a rural high alpine mountain environment where wildlife, insects and rodents may be encountered. We have stayed several times in this area and it continues to be a favorite for our family. The views from the cabin were great and delivered the privacy we were looking for. Communication with the host was fantastic and prompt. The towns of Alma and Fairplay are very near and deliver the perfect mountain town vibes. This was a great location to stay and relax in, 10/10 would recommend, lots of rooms, and space for the whole family to hang out! FYI if you are from front range or lower altitudes, and traveling here during the spring: The house is at \~11,000 feet elevation, thus there is a high potential for it to snow well into late spring, make sure you have a car with four wheel drive and snow tires/chains. There were a few dead bugs in the bathrooms, the entertainment system never ended up working and the sheets in the upstairs bedroom were yellowed... But we got a lot of use out of the pool table and the furniture was surprisingly comfortable. Overall we had a really great time staying here and would recommend it, just be aware of technical problems and the roads were pretty rough for the last little bit, I would recommend 4 wheel drive no matter the time of year. ##### Madison F. The property is pretty and the young adults loved the pool table and basement area. The road getting to the house is very very rough. When we got to the house, it had not been cleaned properly. We did make the management company aware and they offered for someone to come out. The cabinets were nasty and the dishwasher has mold in it. The pots and pans are almost unusable. Both bathtubs have ringed stains and the carpet is not clean. There are also several things that the listing claims to have but are actually not available. There is a tv in the master, but no satellite available and it is not a smart tv. The master is also not a suite, there is no bathroom in that room. The master bed has several pieces of plywood under the mattress to keep it from sinking down any further. It was not comfortable at all. The surround sound outside is permanently unhooked, you can't have a fire and there is no rollaway bed. We were told the owner took the rollout bed and the management company was unaware. This put someone on the floor in our group, which is unacceptable to me when you are told it sleeps a certain number of people. We have rented several properties from vrbo, this is one that will make me question my next rental. I would not rent this again. Bottom line is, they promise a lot and don't deliver.
