The Little Airport Getaway

Remodeled one bedroom home perfect for affordable, yet comfortable travel for small groups of people. The home has a full kitchen, full bathroom, and washer/dryer. The home also has a private yard and off street parking with high speed internet and WIFI. The home is located less than 3 minutes from the airport!

Unwind in this beautifully remodeled little cottage in West Fairbanks. Whether sitting outside in your private fenced-in yard or getting comfortable in the well-appointed interior and watching a movie on the flat screen, you will find that this little home has it all!

When you arrive, there will be cold bottled water and snacks waiting for you along with a Keurig and pods and a regular coffee pot for coffee. We also stock other snacks like oatmeal, chips, noodles, and granola bars. The kitchen is fully stocked with full selection of large and small appliances along with all of the cook and bakeware you will need to prepare delicious meals.

The home has been remodeled from top to bottom with a new kitchen and bathroom, LED lighting and hardwood and carpet floors throughout the home. There are two smart flat screens TV's in the home with high-speed Wi-Fi to sit back and relax while watching your favorite shows and movies on Netflix and Hulu. The one bedroom has a queen bed with a quality mattress and bedding, and a full-size washer and dryer. The sofa with a chaise lounge folds out to become a full size bed for two. If you are travelling with little ones we do have a high chair at the home, and pack and play available upon request.

The home is located on the westside of Fairbanks and is close to downtown, grocery stores, The University of Alaska Museum and other local attractions. Chena Hot Springs is about 1 hour away and Denali National Park is about 2.5 hours away. The bus line and bike paths are just one block away!

Making sure you have a completely enjoyable stay is our highest priority!

We try to make sure each guest has everything they need when they arrive for a comfortable stay. We send out an electronic guidebook loaded with local information and strive to make sure you are familiar with your surroundings and how to find things. We are available when needed and welcome all respectful guests to book our home.

The house is 1 block from the bus line and close to the bike trails

Quick, comfortable, close overnight stay before pre-cruise

Small but quaint; nice touch on the Prosecco and snacks; easy and quick commute from the airport. Very responsive owner to any questions before the stay. Totally recommend- especially for anyone arriving before any pre-cruise tours. FYI- Ubers can be iffy after 130am- so we recommend just taking the approx $6 taxi (taxi line is to the left when exiting the airport)

David, a very nice guy, sent me message reminding us before we arrived. The house is very beautiful, situated near airport and city center. All equipment for a full kitchen are there. Everything is new and clean. It is a perfect house for vacation.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is with this lodging rental. The amenities are first rate. It is located near the airport and a hop skip and a jump to everything in Fairbanks. It is also two blocks away from a riverboat cruise down the Chena River (Great value really cool outing). A wonderful welcoming kit for guests. Over the top service. A must stay!!!

This is a super nice little place. It’s small but it’s all you need. I came to Fairbanks for a job interview and this place was a good bit cheaper than the surrounding hotels. There’s a nice kitchen and they also have a high chair if you have a small child. There were a few board games as well and a fully stocked TV. Overall it’s a great place to stay and a great price. VERY CLEAN!

Excellent little house!!

This little purple house was exactly what our family needed for our 12 day stay! Communication with Tera and Bobby was excellent. The bed and her couch bed were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the best was the couple cold bottles of water and a little bin with a couple snacks. This worked perfect to tide us over until we were able to go get groceries!! It was very clean, had multiple outlets, fast WiFi, plenty of hot water and it was just a fabulous stay. We will definitely be back to Fairbanks and will for sure be staying here again!

It was a real treat to stay in this cute, cozy cottage. I’m particular about cleanliness, I didn’t have to do any cleaning to make myself feel comfortable. I was wondering about noise from the airport but it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. I was able to cook the way I like as I had everything I needed. And all of the extras and little details let’s you know that the hosts really care that you enjoy. All for a great deal. If ever I come back to Fairbanks, I will stay here and refer anyone.
