Im Externtal selbst gibt gute ausgeschilderte Wanderwege und in der Umgebung viele weitere Wander- und Ausflugsziele, die gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Was im Vergleich zu anderen Feriendörfern etwas fehlt, sind Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen für Besucher, etwa eine zentraler Spielplatz, wo sich Kinder treffen könnten. Bei unserem Urlaub haben das unsere Kinder aber nicht weiter vermisst. ##### Jan W.
