![During my #roadtrip through Lofoten in northern Norway I drove past this incredibly beautiful place. It's quite far south and requires a fair amount of driving to reach but I'd say that's time well spent! One could easily spend a week exploring this area and not get bored. "We had a lovely one night stay here in Jan 2026\. Its a really good base, perfectly located in the city centre, easy walking distance to anywhere including most activity pickups. The buffet breakfast was really good and had everything you could want. We had dinner in the Bull Bar & Grill downstairs which had a really nice atmosphere, and very convenient as its just downstairs in the hotel, so you dont have to go outside! We had a burger and ribs and both were really good. The lounge area by reception is really tastefully done, and we enjoyed sitting there a few times enjoying the comfy seating and free flavoured water / blueberry juice. Our room was a little small (not much space to put suitcases/unpack) but the beds were comfortable, and a nice bathroom. Would happily stay there again."
