Enjoyed the stay. Hotel was old, so not expecting a lot. Parking was inconvenience. Shuttle had to transport you to a parking lot about half mile away where you car was parked.

Our bedding had not been changed, although the bed was made up as if it was clean. When I went to get into bed, pulled back the bedding, and there was blood on the sheet. As a female, I’m too old to have left it where it was if you get my drift., Someone brought us clean sheets and they did comp us the room for that night, but overall a very disturbing experience. Carpets were grimy too, and the place just seemed warn out. Shuttle driver nice, and he brought us the clean sheets too. Main check in area staff not very friendly or accommodating overall.

Old refurbished classic hotel. Room was small and dust/mold as expected of this kind of hotel but really kicked in my allergies. She loved the romance of it, but not for more than the day. Nice and nostalgic so perfect for some, just know what it is.

The bathroom was way too small. The toilet was up against the window and wall. The shower was tiny and the sink was in the room far away from the bathroom. The air conditioner had to run all night and that was loud.

Next time you stay with, inquire about our larger rooms. The AC noise is inconvenient but unfortunately there's not much we can do about that.I hope you have a good day!

At this hotel you are stepping back in time. A very old, classic hotel from post Civil War era. Not perfect but pretty good shape for its age. A visit to Eureka Springs is a step back in time.

The front desk was rude. They acted like they didn't even want us to be there. No greeting, no smile, no thank you. Very short and curt. The shuttle drivers were the nicest people there. The room was subpar and ugly. The staircase needed vacuuming and the food was subpar. If you called the front desk they were just plain rude. The hotel is not at all attractive. I've stayed at better La Quinta's and I payed almost $400 in hotel tax. Overall I would find another place to to stay. Highly overrated!!

First of all, this is an OLD hotel. Like the rest of the town, everything is OLD. That said, it is not a bad hotel. The staff was amazing. From the front desk attendants to the bar/dining staff to the cleaning staff, the service was amazing. I always try to book directly through the hotel...but that was not a wise move. We received an amazing deal through Expedia. The price was 1/2 of booking through the hotel directly. We booked 2 rooms and loved being across the hall from each other. The rooms were cozy, but old. Dim lighting and interesting plumbing situations. The floors are creaky, which falls in line with the mood of the old hotel. Beds, bedding, sheets, towels were totally fine. The hotel restaurant was very good as was the game room. I had a great time with my almost-adult children in the game room. The location is absolutely perfect! Being right in the middle of Eureka is fantastic. We could walk everywhere and if needed, the hotel had a shuttle available at all times. We had amazing dining experiences at the suggestion of the hotel staff . Overall, we had a fantastic stay at a fun hotel which is located in the best place in Eureka!

The Basin Park front desk were rude and unaccommodating . The cleaning crew were very friendly as was the door man. We stayed in one of the haunted rooms ,room 306 . The first night it sounded like someone was in the room walking around.

We checked in to the first room and the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the room was dusty. The floor smelled completely of weed. We were moved to the 5th floor from the 4th and into another room. The bed was slightly better, the room was still dusty. The bathroom areas were extremely tight. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was great- however this place really needs updating. Around 10:30pn we heard a lot of stomping and noise above us to which we found out was a ghost tour which lasted until well after 11pm. Our spa services were moved to another location due to a person calling in. The spa was the main reason we stayed at the hotel for convenience.

Great place to stay in Eureka! All of downtown Eureka Springs is within walking distance and they have a shuttle to get to other attractions in town!

Ok I get that this is a historic town but this hotel is old. Really old. They just keep adding more layers of brown paint on the walls. The TVS are old and you can't stream to them. The floors are uneven so Our door was crooked at the top and had a 2 inch gap. Carpet was old. Fixtures lighting furniture all needs to be thrown away. At $275 a night you'd think it was at least a Holiday Inn. Parking was at an offsite lot so you unload at the curb. We had 2 dogs so I had to stay with them while my husband had to go park the car and wait for free shuttle. Staff was very friendly and helpful! The game room was fun and the lounge was nice if you want expensive cocktails. Didn't go to the spa or use the hot tub. Not sure why this is called a 'resort' my guess is so they can charge the ' resort fee'. We didn't have the cont'l breakfast but used the $15 credit at a local coffee shop. Which is a smart partnership! Go there for breakfast! Awesome coffee fresh baked biscuits :) The locals go there. The location is what you're paying for $$. Probably won't go back

Jacob at the front desk and Nick on the shuttle were amazing. This hotel is beautiful ghost or no ghost! I will be back as it’s just a wonderful vibe all around. My only critique is the mirrors are a little high for those 5’2” and under-that’s not the first time I’ve run into that though.

Wonderful old hotel, smack dab in the middle of downtown Eureka Springs. It's not perfect, but, still, I love this old lady. We've stayed here twice, and we plan on staying here again.

Great hotel, questionable service
We like to occasionally stay in this historic hotel, walk to restaurants, relax in pretty Eureka Springs. When we arrived they were testing the fire alarms throughout the building, excruciating noise every few seconds, all day. The desk clerk was non-committal about how much longer it would be happening, was pretty rude and unhelpful about it, and was finally convinced to move us to the sister hotel in a comparable room. As that was happening, the fire alarm tech came through and explained how they working and how much longer it likely would take. He was nice and seemed to know his job well. We chose to stay at Basin Park, take a walk until the testing finished, and it worked out fine. The hotel seemed to have no policies or compensation or vouchers in place to deal with the day-long issue, and although they knew the testing day a week in advance, we were not warned. The restaurant and spa was closed all day, but guests could unknowingly book a room. Weird. There were so many ways to communicate with us and warn us, but those were used continuously to try to sell us activities and spa services instead.

We had car trouble immediately upon arrival and the staff responded in a way that was helpful and understanding. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the grounds are adorable and inclusive.

Simply isn't enough space to unload your luggage. Only one parking spot to unload and it's usually full.
