Also located 15 miles from the heart of Arcata, Home of Cal Poly Humboldt, shops, restaurants and much more. This one is defenitely in top two and given the rental rate defenitely #1 for value. I usually stay right across the street from the beach but found that I like this houses location better. Its quieter, I like the backyard better too I like the canal in back. The only thing this house needs is a bit of updating and a washer that guests can use, It is small and there is no place for dishwasher but that would have been nice also. The house was clean and very close to the beach and Gils Restaurant. The only complaint was that we could not watch TV much in the evenings because the connection was not the best.
