Whether you’re just visiting for some of the great outdoor activities in Humboldt, or for a quiet place for you to getaway and work remotely this is sure to be the place. Located within walking distance of local Grocery store, Dick Taylor Chocolate Factory, Old Town shopping/ historical buildings and Eureka's beautiful Boardwalk. Includes Free Parking. Parking info: There is plenty of Free parking in public parking lot located on the property. Please be careful of parking under trees as some birds love the bay view as well and like to nest above the trees and tend to leave behind some droppings. Also Pay attention to posted signs in Eureka, there is 2 hour parking during business hours all throughout old town and on the 1st street side of the building if you shall need to park on the street. Located in a safe and secure building, this unit has an open floor plan that is sure to make you feel at home. Featuring a light and comfortable living space, dining area, a large flat screen TV(streaming only), a full recently updated kitchen and appliances and much more, giving you options to enjoy and relax. Down the hallway leads you to both bedrooms one with a queen bed and one with a full bed and one full bath. The decor is light and airy with some modern touches. Check in was simple and straightforward. Close to eateries within easy walking distance. Host was quick to respond when we had inquiries. We had a great time for sure. Sleep was a little rough. There is so much outside light that comes inside all night. No nightlight necessary. Full daylight all night from the parking lot and exterior lighting. The parking lot and alley are very noisy until well after 2:00 am when all the bars close. The upstairs is stuffy and for the life of me, I couldn't get a window to open. I did like that there was a lot to see and eat at nearby. My only issue was the neighbors in the building, you could hear doors closing loudly and people talking in the hall late after midnight. The first Saturday of the month the area right behind the property does an appreciation of the arts. It was really fun to go to, but definitely not on the quiet side. The unit is very close to Humboldt Bay, shops and restaurants. The apartment is well maintained, the kitchen stocked, and roomy. The host was very helpful in getting us in the apartment. We were visiting a friend. It was great being able to walk around downtown. The parking was easy. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It's very clean, very spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. We ran out of towels and they were replenished immediately. had a great stay, loved walking around.
