The main level boasts an abundance of natural light, complementing the restored hardwood floors, coved ceilings, and large traditional windows, preserving the 1940s bungalow style. The kitchen, with updated amenities, seamlessly connects to a newly constructed deck for indoor-outdoor dining, while the spacious private side yard is ideal for summer activities. Inside, the living room features a gas fireplace, creating an intimate setting for movie nights or game evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with essential appliances, and each bedroom, thoughtfully furnished, provides comfort with ample natural light and views of the lush side yard. Extra blankets and pillows are provided for an optimal stay. We had everything we needed, and more! From tea, coffee, Nespresso maker with pods, to comfy beds with heavenly linens, there were so many extras to make us feel not just at home, but lavishly pampered. This beautifully decorated, amply supplied home was exactly the place we needed to prepare for and put on our daughter’s wedding as out-of-towners (and thanks to Hayward House, we felt right at home)! Communication from our host was very welcoming with a total commitment to making sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for making this fantastic place available - we'd happily stay here again. I was visiting my daughter at UO for the weekend and the house was perfectly located and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was really well stocked with all of the appliances, pots, pans, and cooking utensils needed for a small or large dinner. I was provided with plenty of fresh towels (which is not the usually the case in a lot of rentals I've stayed in in the past), and communication with the host was easy, fast, and clear. I will absolutely book this house for all of my future trips. One thing to note was the gorgeous Japanese camellia plant in the side yard. It sits in front of the large window in the living room and was covered in buds getting ready to bloom into bright pink winter roses. A couple had bloomed while I was there and I'm tempted to book another trip soon just so I can sit at the dining table with a coffee and look at all of those beautiful flowers! ##### Nichole W. We stayed here with plans to attend both a track meet and softball game at the university. The location couldn't get much better. The house itself is also very clean and comfortable. With one bedroom and bathroom located in the basement, it is the perfect rental for a family who lets their teenage child "bring a friend" or a family with a grandparent traveling with them as these individuals could have their separate space. The house also has added bonuses of a peloton bike, an amazing coffee machine and a parking place. When the only downfall of a VRBO is that there is only 1 TV in the house.....you know it's a great place to rent!! We will be back. ##### Addie I. The house and the property owners made the visit great. The house was just as advertised (ok - even a little better as the neighborhood was also amazing with flowers blooming everywhere).
