This quaint and charming home is centrally located ,in the heart of downtown Eugene, Oregon. It is only a brisk walk from the eclectic Whitaker / Blair Boulevard neighborhood with its many ethnic restaurants and grocers, gourmet dining establishments and great music venues. One of Eugene's best bakeries is only a few steps away! Deliscious! The Pizza Research Institute and Papa's Soul Food Kitchen are extraordinary and Sam Bond's Garage is a popular music venue for local, and not so local, artists. Just down the way a bit is the Hult Center where touring companies bring theatre and music to Eugene and where the notable Eugene Symphony, the Mozart Players and the Bach Festival perform to the delight of local and international audiences. For a change of pace , take public transportation, or drive,the short distance to Matthew Knight Arena, Autzen Stadium, Hayward Field or PK Park where top notch athletic competitions never fail to thrill and inspire.

Honestly, the house was great and location was good. However, we had people in front on side walks and going down the alley at all hours of day and night. You would hear voices at 3 in the morning and sounded like they were in back yard but was the alley.

Location was perfect for where we needed to be! We were able to walk to a lot of the places we went, which was wonderful! Great communication with Carolyn! Easy access and the house was nice and roomy. Loved the robes provided! Never had an issue with finding parking right in front of the house on the street.

Good communication, good location. Owner proactively called to indicate plumber needed to come, for a backup in the basement. That did not impact our stay. We had problems securing the electric locks, but certainly felt safe in the neighborhood.

The owner was very speedy with communication pre stay and answered all my questions. The accommodations were more than expected , very comfortable with everything you can possibly need. Close to good restaurants. The immediate neighborhood is littered and there are many questionable people walking around at night. It is very sad. The rental property is delightful and outshines the riff raft.I hope to utilize this rental again for my next stay. It felt like home away from home.

The home was as pictured and described. The bed was relatively comfortable, though I prefer a firmer mattress. I really liked the sitting room to the rear of the home. The living room was comfortable and had plenty of seating for relaxing. And though we did not cook while we were there, the kitchen was well stocked for those who chose to do so. There were several cafes and a bakery in walking distance as well. There was plenty of parking on the street, just be mindful not to leave anything in the car. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to sleep in the room on the lower level, as you can hear outside noise from foot traffic in the alley adjacent to the home from the other rooms.

I loved the outdoors here. Wonderful gardens in the front. Cutesy back, high fenced area for sitting, game playing.Host was easy to getahold of and very quick response time. She really cares that you have a good time.

Your grandma's House

Its a well maintained older house. cute, neighborhood is OK. it was clean and well stocked.The second bathroom shower was in a tub, which doesn't work for old knees very well. there was another walk in so that worked.
