![Diablo Lake is a reservoir in the North Cascade mountains of northern Washington state, United States. Created by Diablo Dam, the lake is located between Ross Lake and Gorge Lake on the Skagit River at an elevation of 1,201 feet (366 m) above sea level.
The unique, intense turquoise hue of the lake's water is attributed to the surrounding glaciers that grind rocks into a fine powder that is carried into the lake through creeks. "We were given a room with an amazing view on the 26th floor! Check in was easy and we were able to check in early. We wanted a drink at the bar, it was open yet, but the guy served us anyway. Parking garage was safe and easy to access as street parking was hard to find. The hotel and our room was clean and quiet. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!"
