The drive up to the house is a little tedious, but once you make it there, it’s absolutely worth it. Communication from the property management was great and helped us with any questions we had. House was very clean and had pretty much all that was needed for a weeks stay in the area. Though it was only myself and my partner, the house could easily accommodate a large family with its three bedrooms. The next time I visit Estes Park I would absolutely book this property again. If there was anything that should be looked into by the property owner, it would be the age of the water heater. I noticed a very slight sulfur smell with the water and upon inspection of the water heater I noticed it was from 2009\. It should probably be replaced before it causes any issues with future renters. Everything else was perfect! ##### Zachary N. It has a great view of the mountains and is absolutely wonderful to wake up, and look outside in the morning. There are (3) bedrooms and a "reading nook" with a Futon that can be pulled out to sleep everyone. Having 3 and 1/2 baths makes things easy when you have a large family. And, having a washer and dryer in the unit sure saved us time and money over having to go to a laundromat. Having said that, there were a couple of things that I think should be noted. 1\. It is a 3-story unit. This wasn't mentioned when I booked the unit. 2\. I understand that, in Estes Park, 360 days of the year, you don't need air conditioning, because the weather is perfect or cold. However, there are those 5 days a year that A/C would be nice. On our stay, the temperatures got up into the 90s. Unfortunately, the single box fan and (2) oscillating fans that were in the unit, were simply not enough to cool off the living spaces. We opened every window on the third floor, and opened windows on the other floors and the main entry door just to try to get a cross breeze, and we couldn't cool it down. A ceiling fan or two would be nice. 3\. Parking - There's not much there. You can park (1) car in front of your unit. You might be able to park another car at the end of the driveway if your neighbor doesn't have (6) cars there like they did when we stayed there. If this happens, you're going to have to back out of the drive, and forget having more than (1) car. ##### Andy T. Séjour de 3 nuits en août 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### TODD L. 18 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Nice Stay, Beautiful Views, Good Mgmt This is a vacation condo on a beautiful mountainside with gorgeous views. The management was extremely responsive to issues. There was an issue after we made our reservation on their side and they handled it quickly and professionally. The property itself appeared a little beat up from being a vacation condo that probably wasn't built with the durability to be a VRBO property. One railing was partially pulled out of the wall(with evidence of multiple prior repairs), one of the box fans had broken blades and was too loud to use and the mattresses were clean but well used. Last, the dryer didn't work and was missing a leg so when we tried to run it, it sounded like it was eating itself and once we balanced it and ran it, the clothes were still room temp and wet. Given the views and amenities it was worth the stay. Mgmt took all of our comments in stride and I expect they will quickly fix everything we brought to their attention. Overall it was a good stay. ##### TODD L. The carpet appeared clean but was wavy and drab...needing replacement. The beds were severely uncomfortable!!!! My husband and I ended up having to sleep in the two twin beds because the king beds were old and severely sagging. Christmas decorations appeared throughout the house in June. Really? Who wants Christmas in June? Bathrooms were very small with very little counter space. For our next trip I will book well in advance and select a home that is more suitable for us. ##### Gracie M. We were not given a code and had to go back into town to get hold of someone. Then I went to the wrong condo and our car got stuck. Since we had no car and no cell phone use I had to flag down someone who was nice enough to let us go to their home and use their land line. In trying to reach the reservation service we were on hold almost half of an hour. Finally realized the mistake of the rental and did get in the one we had rented but still unable to get the car out of the gravel. On Thanksgiving Day a tow truck came and we were free. We did not see anywhere in the The the property was first class. Adorable decorations and the kitchen well stocked. The heat worked well and the showers were great. Wildlife everywhere. A couple issues ...we did not know about all the stairs. Lots and lots of stairs! The beds were comfy but the sheets did not fit well and kept springing off in the middle of the night . The one bathroom in the hall was not draining well. Finding the place was an adventure. The map program took us to funky remote areas 15 miles away. When we did figure it out it was dark This is not a place you want to have to fund in the dark. Glad it was so close to the entrance to the park, Thank you so much ##### Marie P.
