Ellijay's rich soil at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains lends itself to picturesque orchards, and vineyards and our waterways are great for outdoor family adventures like tubing, kayaking, swimming and fishing!
-When you first walk in you'll see this is not your grandma's cabin.
-You're greeted by floor to ceiling windows, beautiful angular, tongue in groove crafted ceilings with tons of natural light and a stacked stone fireplace! We love to shop small businesses and packed the cabin with tons of local décor, art, furnishings and housewares to highlight the local wildlife and everything Ellijay.
-The living room beckons you to unwind in its plush seating arrangement, where you can relax by the warmth of the fireplace or catch up on your favorite shows on the large Smart-flat-screen TV.
-The 8 person dining room crafted with reclaimed pine invites you to share a meal with the fam or friends.
-Across from your dining space is Luxie Bear's Wet Bar. Solid oak floating shelves hold a hammered brass shaker and bar set and all the glassware you'll need for a curated cocktail or fav beverage. This is a perfect spot to chat about your experiences during your stay.
-Adjoining the living area, is a fully equipped kitchen, with all the tools, gadgets and serve-ware you will need to whip up a delicious meal whether inside or outside on the terrace al fresco!
-If coffee or tea is your thing, we have you covered with a Keurig Duo coffee maker, Cooktop Espresso Machine, French Press or Tea Kettle with complimentary coffee, tea, creamer and luxurious self serve gourmet flavors for everyone to enjoy.
-Right off the kitchen, step outside onto the "L" shaped deck, where you'll find an inviting outdoor lounge area, gas fire pit, side tables to enjoy natures splendor.
-Around the corner from the lounge area is the outdoor dining space and a grill ideal for the chef of the family to whip up an outdoor meal amidst the soothing sounds of song birds, listening to the tiny creek behind you or overlooking your private back yard. You may see a friendly deer or 2 visiting to say hello.
"Luxie Bear " - Master Bedroom -A live edge, king-size bed, 12" hybrid pillow top mattress with en suite bath with dual sinks, and a large walk-in shower are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the scenic wonders of Ellijay, Blue Ridge, or . All of our towns are worth a visit. If you must work, do it from the cabin. We provided for you a reclaimed wood desk and chair with a USB lamp and free Hi-Speed internet. Peruse the original art piece depicting the Coosawattee River and exactly where you are in relation to it! I had so much fun decorating Luxie Bear.
"Welcome to My Crib" - Nursery/Toddler Room - As an ensuite to the master you can find a cozy space for your little one with a full size crib, organic sheets, bench, children's books, a USB nightlight and high chair. Rest assured your baby is steps from you.
No baby, no problem, keep the oak doors with brass hardware, closed and enjoy The Luxie Bear Master in all it's splendor.
"Moody Moose" - Second Bedroom - Featured is a bold reclaimed wood platform king bed, 12" hybrid pillow top mattress with the second bath steps away. Both rooms come with premium 800 thread count Egyptian cotton linens, ensuring a blissful night's sleep. The second full bath is adorned with brass fixtures and a tub.
"What Does the Fox Say" - Third Bedroom - Step downstairs to the Terrace Level and you will find the 3rd twin bedroom retreat. Named after one of our kiddos favorite songs right now, this serene space with chic fox and mountain décor comes with a pillow top daybed, 100% cotton Animal Tracks bedding, side table, dual USB clock, 3 drawer chest and Smart flat screen TV. Slide your modern-twist barn doors for some privacy from the Game Room. or step right out into the Game Room for FUN.
"Twigs & Bears Bunk" - As the backdrop of the game room on the terrace level, you'll find the super rustic, hickory Amish bunk bed with super cozy Bear Tracks velvety cotton bedding and pillow top mattress! Everyone will be calling dibs on sleeping on any of the beds on the Terrace Level.
"Luxie Bear Game Room" - We have kids and are big kids at heart so we created a haven of entertainment and relaxation for both kids and adults alike.
-One of the family favs is the 9' two-for-one, light-up shuffleboard table with bowling and LED rails. If you have some gamers, the XBOX with complimentary XBOX pass is for them or log into your account.
-Add the 2-person, 400+ Retro Arcade and the grown ups and kids alike will be gaming head to head.
-A large flat-screen TV with articulating arm is mounted on the wall, ensuring optimal viewing for gaming or watching movies from wherever youâre seated.
-Relax on the blue âretroâ leather sofa sipping apple cider and taking in the forested view. Grab one of the many board games like Turn-table Scrabble, Dominoes, Jenga Dice Tower (just to name a few) and hop over and play on the live edge, hi-top dining space.

-Chuck, the beaver is the featured art, and is a local. You may see him by the railroad tracks on your way into town.
-The full size laundry room on the terrace level comes with with a high capacity washer and dryer and separate sink . The solid oak floating shelves hold your plush towels for the Hot Tub just outside.

-Right by the hot tub is a cozy lounge space, table and gas fire pit, thoughtfully designed with custom drink holders affixed to the balusters, for you to enjoy moments with loved ones.

-The fire pit area is hard to miss with the Deco Pink Adirondack chairs, and tables, providing a unique and stylish seating arrangement. Relax as you gather around the warm and inviting fire. A great space for smores or fresh fruit from one of our orchards as you enjoy the crackling flames.
