Very clean, modern and had a heat pump that was adjusted just right especially during this winter time. The bonus was having a private spa pool and hot pool, it was perfect time to relax after a tiring day doing the Tongariro Crossing. The procedure to this self check-in suite was easy and instructions were clear. One minor down side is the mirror in the bathroom was rather large and protruded too much, which was a little challenging to wash my face with. There is no kitchen and there is no fitness centre and no full service spa, only a spa pool/jacuzzi. There is a shared fridge in a communal area, but no kitchen. There is a pool and spa pool, but no fitness centre. There are no balconies and private corridors, only a deck/veranda which all the room doors open on to. The Expedia description says: "Along with a full-service spa, this smoke-free motel has an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre (where is the fitness centre and full service spa?)", "All 6 individually decorated rooms feature free WiFi and private yards (where are the private yards?)", "Rooms open to balconies" (no balconies, only an deck/veranda which all doors open on to), "Guests can make use of the shared/communal kitchen." There is no kitchen, just a fridge. Again, there are no balconies, no private yards, no private corridors, no full service spa and no fitness centre. The facilities that are there, are very nice, no complaints about that, but I feel the description needs to be updated.
