Internet was good but there wasn’t really a Mountain View. Lots of trees surrounding cabin. Some things I wish would have been better were some broken blinds, the fridge was dented and made a noise the entire time. The bathroom on the first floor sounded like the shower head was dripping but I put my hand under it and it wasn’t. There were quite a few light bulbs out and some of the doors on the first floor would not latch to stay closed. Overall though we had a very good time.

We had a great time in the inspiration cabin. It was quiet but still convenient to Blue Ridge and Elijah. The cabin was perfect and the hosts were always helpful and accessible. I would recommend this cabin and host to anyone looking for a great worry free vacation! 5 stars and thank you for everything!

Christmas stay

Loved our stay in the cabin for the Christmas holiday. The cabin was off the beaten trail and in a quiet area, which was exactly what we were looking for. Would have liked to have had some Christmas decor to feel like the holiday. Also kind of surprised we had to take our trash out and strip the beds of linens. Seems like that would be part of the cleaner's responsibility. We would recommend staying here.

Anniversary Trip

A very good stay, just need the overhead light in master bedroom bulb to be changed to high for guests to reach to change out themselves. Dust the ceiling fans for guests to use when we turned them on dust flew but that definitely wouldn't stop us from coming back. Bring your first-aid kit we left ours and unfortunately sliced my finger open while cooking.

Weekend Away

A very cute, warm and snuggly cabin nestled in the woods, enjoyed a relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle: wish we would of had time to enjoy the hot tub but we had so much packed into the weekend that we didn’t, definitely will book again and make use of the hot tub!!

Every expense has been spared.

Upon arrival I found that one of the toilets had been used and left in a dirty state. When I reported this to the Management they merely asked for photographic proof. In addition, half the window blinds were broken in some way, the bed linen was cheap and uncomfortable, the pillows were old and flattened, the kitchen was poorly equipped (for a cabin that could accommodate 4 adults there were only 2 wine glasses) and there were no serving spoons/ladles. Liquid soap in the bathrooms had been diluted to the point of uselessness. The rental fee is high but clearly none of this revenue gets reinvested in the property.

Great stay

Great weekend getaway! Plenty of hiking trails around that we explored, and the property was nicely kept. Dogs loved it too. Close to downtown Blue Ridge so that we could grab dinner/drinks in the evenings. Only wish we would’ve had some flexibility with the check out time. Getting out at 10am EST was not ideal, but didn’t impact the overall good time all that much. Having to clean everything even though we paid a decent amount for a “cleaning service fee” seemed odd, but we were only there for a few days, so not much to have to straighten up.

Relaxing long weekend

My husband and I had a wonderful getaway for President/Valentine's day weekend. The cabin had everything we needed to cook all of our meals, cozy up by the fire, and relax in the hot tub. Bryan made pre-ordering firewood a breeze, and we referenced a previous review to contact Boo Bear Bake Shoppe to order the best cheesecake we've ever tasked. The owner bakes and sells out of her home right about the corner from the cabin, so I called, she baked the cheesecake that day, and even delivered it to us! Her husband also sells barbecue, which I imagine is delicious too, but we didn't get to try it! There are houses nearby, but the cabin is tucked back off the road enough that it feels private. We are already talking about how we could definitely come back with more friends/family and have plenty of room to enjoy ourselves.

Just the Girls

The ONLY thing I would have liked that wasn't available was a Smart/ROKU TV to mirror cast from our phones. Cabin was Clean, Cozy, GREAT LOCATION (even for a car). Bedding was soft & comfortable, ALL kitchen items available, Hot Tub clean, Good communication w Owners This Cabin was EXACTLY what me & my 3 friends (Wives, Moms, Professional Spiritual women) needed. Self Care Quiet Time to Relax, Relate & Revive. WE WILL BE BACK! Thanks for a great experience

Fun Family Getaway

My family and I enjoyed our stay here! It was quiet and comfortable. The kids loved the hot tub and pool table! We had fun visiting Blue Ridge, which is only a short drive away. We were easily able to communicate with the property owners.

Needs work

We enjoyed our stay overall, but the mini blinds were in bad shape, we found one in a closet and replaced the one on the back door for privacy. the hot tub was a blast and we also enjoyed Boo Bears Bakery right around the corner :-) The shrubbery by the front porch needs to be trimmed back so that you have a view when in the rocking chairs of something other than bushes and mosquitoes! We would stay there again though, it was very relaxing. Oh, and last but not least we fell "In Love" with the sofa and recliner from Abernathy's and ordered it for our home ;-) you have great taste!! Thanks Bryan ps. thanks for the speedy coffee pot replacement too!

Overall was good

It is a typical rental cabin with no upgrades. The cabin was clean and there is no view. Did want to point out that the coffee pot is falling apart, the door to the bathroom on main level will not latch and the bathtub does not drain well.

Pool table was so off-level that it wasn't even usable for a super casual player like myself. No wifi and no ESPN on the TV which meant no college football. The extra "fees" were almost as much as the nightly rate itself for 2 nights. This includes an absurdly high cleaning fee even though we still had to take the sheets off the bed, take out the trash, and put dishes in the dishwasher. Then they tried to guilt us into TIPPING the cleaning person. They are clearly pocketing a solid chunk of the "fees" if it isn't enough to properly compensate the house cleaner. Overall the cabin was nice and quiet, but I don't think we will stay here again.

Cabin was nice size for our family of four. Hot tub was clean and great to use. Only down and why I rated a 4 was the check in, had to call to get the code to the key lock box, could have sent that with the check in email.
