« We loved the Papyrus Guest House. The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent. There is a nice bar area to hang out at. The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us. We felt safe while we were at the property. We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that. Great value for the money. »

« Great hotel close to the airport. I stayed here for a night because my flight landed quite late at Entebbe. I was picked up at the airport and had a comfortable stay after a long flight. It made my transition into Uganda quite easy. »

« The staff at Emmaus is what keeps us coming back. They are just very kind and help in any way that they can. The bed is comfortable and the room is kept very clean. The quiet was so appreciated and the location was great. We were able to walk to many of our meeting places and it was very easy to get an UBER ride to/from anywhere. Enjoyed it. »

« they need to inform clients upfront if they can't accept credit cards. When I tried to pay with my CC for meals I was informed that they can't accept credit cards. Apparently there was an issue with the bank. it creates a predicament to clients who do not have access to cash. otherwise, the stay was excellent »

« Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor. »

« Beautiful view from the breakfast area. My room did not have electricity all during the day. The bathroom had no door just a ripped shower curtain. The shower didn’t work. It took 4 staff members coming in every 5 minutes to figure out the shower and by the time they showed us it was time to check out. »

« The place was horrible, light in the toilet was not working and no mirror. The place is very noisy, no WIFI and breakfast was just toast and jam. »

« This home was very well equipped - gas stove, pots and pans, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, hot water heater. Some kinks to work out such as guard dogs out at night so we couldn’t venture out of the house after a certain time and locked gate so we couldn’t leave unless we called the housekeeper. Housekeeper was available by phone/WhatsApp very consistently so there were no problems. We thoroughly enjoyed a family get away with easy day trips into entebbe to swim and do an airport drop off....

« Excellent service, but it is outside of Entebbe, and the internet is very poor. The host is amiable and goes over and beyond to make his customer comfortable. The problem is you can spend a long time getting there, and a taxi asks 90 dollars to drop you off. Beautiful place overall »
