It was absolutely clean. We wished for a little better ventilation on the warm days/nights but we brought fans and were fine. We wished for another chair or two in the living room. We are a family of 10 plus an infant. The basement bedroom was ideal for the baby, she slept in the cool dark closet! There is a pack and play available. There are lots of dishes and pots and pans. We opened all the windows and aired it out. We believe the smell carpet cleaner that was sprinkled around. Once aired, it was much better. The house is older but the owners have done a lot to update it. If you are looking for a home for lots of family or friends, walkable to downtown Ennis, this is a good option. We had an issue with the door and when we contacted the owners they were very responsive and were able to take care of the situation. In addition, they were able accommodate an early check in, which helped us out a lot. ##### Jen W.
