There were only four of us, but this would be a great place for a family or two with kids. There were plenty of towels, dishes and cookware items. I highly recommend the property! It is on a very quiet street with easy access to the beach and a private dock to the bay. There were 7 of us staying and the “kids” had their own space on the back porch. Fully stocked kitchen so easy to cook if you didn’t want to go out for meals. We did have a problem with the temperature of the pool but Mason was quick to respond and it was resolved. We did find the AC/heating a bit hard to control but there were some days in the 50’s and a few in the 70’s. Other than being hit with Hurricane Elsa (which didn't hamper our trip that much!!) we had a great time at the Blue Heron House. It was exactly what we needed and then some. The pool was great! The beach wagon, chairs and toys were perfect and the quick walk there was so easy. Plenty of towels and supplies.
