"Lovely stay and super attentive staff. My bed was a bit soft. The free onsen usage on site was great. The resturant appeared to have a bigger menu than the limited Shabu Shabu that was shown in English, I wish we had known about that as the other patrons food looked amazing. "It was a wonderful stay. The outdoor bath was amazing and not too too hot so you could enjoy it and relax. The staff were helpful and the rooms made up every day. It is easily accessible from the highway Amand is very well situated close to the mountain road leading to the amusement park, the safari and Yufuin. "

"Not the most updated building but functional. The location is okay, would recommend a car if staying in this area. They offer bike rental but we stayed here for three days and only saw one bike available. We had a nice view though. The bed and pillows are not that comfortable so bring or buy a comfortable pillow for a good sleep if you're staying for more than one night. "

"露天風呂は開放感があって良い。 しかし、22時までしか入れないから長く楽しめない。 室内に入ると臭い（温泉の匂いではない） エアコンの暖房が効かない 備え付けの食器、調理器具が衛生的とは思えない。 敷布団が薄いし変な分かれ方しているので寝にくい。 総合的に鑑み、料金が高いと感じた。 唯一良い点はアフリカンサファリと地獄めぐりが近い事。"
