The lodge was clean, in good condition, and well-equipped. The owner texted me the entry code and our arrival was smooth and without hassle. The area is private and secluded, which was just what we wanted. One minor quibble: I was drawn to the place in part because there was a fireplace pictured and listed among the property amenities. This turned out to be decorative fireplace, not a functional one. Stereo, board games and puzzles. Comfortable mattress in the master bedroom and trundle bed in the other bedroom that would be ideally suited for children or teenagers. Great outdoor space with grill, fire pit and patio area. Large laundry room and nice 3 season sunroom. Beautiful view of the lake from the dining area. Our host Mitch responded quickly to our questions and went out of his way to ensure that our needs and comfort were met. When we arrived the property was very clean. We used the kitchen for every meal and had no problems! We even took the boat out for a spin. The property is in a nice spot, secluded and private. Owner was very friendly and helpful with the issues we had with our email (used apple relay). If you enjoy stunning views of nature, You’ll enjoy having your morning coffee/tea in the little “sunroom area” , the patio, or the dining area. The washer and dryer were also a nice bonus, as to not have to do laundry when you’re vacation is over. Kitchen was stocked with every tool we needed, and the bed was so comfortable it made sleeping in a breeze. I loved having my morning coffee on the back deck looking out at the lake, enjoying the many different birds. It's a very easy drive from Virginia or Babbit, and getting to Ely is also super easy and quick. I work a high pressure job, and have a hard time relaxing, but this place was wonderful. We used the boat and spent a day in the sun on the lake. Everything was set up to make our stay easy. I definitely plan on coming back. Thank you Mitch!! ##### Laura A.
