Walk to Marlboro beach. Two bedrooms, laundry, full kitchen, wifi, whole house generator. TV, microwave, gas range, gas fireplace and outdoor Fire pit. Carbon monoxide, smoke detectors and fire extinguisher. Lots of privacy. Although located in a more remote (and very peaceful) area, it is central to Bar Harbor/Acadia and Ellsworth which was perfect for everything we wanted to do on our vacation. Comfortable accommodations with a well-stocked kitchen, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch on chilly nights. The nearby beach is beautiful and great for bird watching. The home is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the location is exceptionally quiet. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, just bring your own food. We were there when the weather was unusually hot and humid but the window AC in the back bedroom and the ceiling fans kept the entire home comfortable. I was a bit concerned about being in a duplex, not knowing if the renters next door would be loud and rowdy (because we're not), so I was pleased to find out that our host has the other half of the duplex.
