« What a wonderful find. 15 minutes to Acadia; 25 minutes to Bar Harbor. This 2 BR unit had everything we needed. James is a wonderful host. Easy to communicate with, helpful ( He even carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs to the unit). Beds were very comfortable.Area was quiet. We enjoyed looking a birds & wild turkeys out our window. Be aware the unit is up a flight of stairs which is clearly stated & shown in the pictures. I would stay here again next time I come to Maine. »

« The cabin was nice and in a beautiful location. Not a far drive to all the attractions. Our only complaint would be the heating system. When it kicked on it made a very high pitched sound that would continue while it ran. It woke us up almost every night due to its proximity to the bedroom. This may not bother most people but we are both light sleepers and feel its worth mentioning. The waterfront is beautiful. We spent alot of time enjoying the view. The bed/mattress was just ok. « The house is very nice. Updated kitchen, all the bedrooms where a good size and the beds where all comfy. We had 9 adults and a dog and there was plenty of room for everyone. The view from the living room was fantastic. I would highly recommend. »

« This was a friends trip to get away and hike Acadia. The property was perfect! We loved the water all around the property and loved drinking coffee in the morning just looking out. This was perfect to unplug and unwind. My only wish was for a bigger tv so we could watch football. We had a great time! »

« 13 of us, aged 1 to 84, enjoyed this year’s family Girls’ Weekend at the Jarvis Homestead. Lots of room to gather, chat, eat, and play. Bedrooms aplenty—all with comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all weekend (including salt & pepper). The hot tub was a hit. Convenient location for walking and exploring downtown. Thank you for everything. "Le déjeuner était ordinaire, beaucoup trop sucré. J’aurais apprécié du pain,du fromage, des croissants, du beurre d’arachide, une variété de céréales. Le café était bon et il y avait une varice fruits. Le yogourt aussi était apprécié! Le personnel était très sympathique et accueillant!! Merci!"
