With that being said, the property is in the woods of a large nature reserve, so an occasional bug sighting comes with the territory. Location: • Location is important in the mountains! The major cell phone carriers have no issue with phone signal at the property. • Located in a gated community (Coosawattee River Resort) with 24/7 security so safety is of no concern. • There are many entrances to our resort community, but the property is located near the closest entrance for easy access to all the activities, orchards, vineyards, hiking trails, shopping, and local restaurants. • All roads leading to the house are paved roads and well maintained so no narrow gravel paths , any car can get you here. Neighborhood: The Property is in Coosawattee River Resort which is a 5,500 acre, gated community and nature preserve in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains in Ellijay, GA. Ellijay is the Apple and Mountain bike capital of Georgia with endless activities to enjoy! Many deer call the neighborhood home and I can almost guarantee you will see them in their natural habitat each day! It also offers many amenities for free! Your Stay includes access to all 5 parks, access to the River tubing (tube not included) and rope swing, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills, fishing pond (No License required), Fenced in Doggy park area (Large and Small dog separation). They also offer a number of paid amenities: Indoor (heated)/outdoor pools, mini golf, pickle-ball, basketball and tennis courts, workout room (weights, exercise bike, elliptical, treadmill), and arcade w/ pool table, ping pong, air hockey and arcade games. The cost is $5 per person/day for an Adventure Pass which grants you access to all of the above for the entire day. I would recommend a day at the pool followed by a round of mini golf in the early evening! The house was beautiful and had plenty a f room for everyone. The kids had a blast with the basement and the outdoor fire pit. They fished and swam and played with the dogs at the dog park. It was a great time. This was a great cabin, perfect for 7-8 people. It was beautifully decorated, in a quiet area, and close to Ellijay which has good dining options. My only negative about it is that some of the ac outlets did not work. But other than that we had a wonderful family reunion there. ##### Sreenivas Séjour de 2 nuits en octobre 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Teresa S. 13 août 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Fun Family Vacation Location Awesome parking, great layout and decor for all ages with bunk beds to queen beds, 4 great porches to spend tIme with family, perfect location to Ellijay and not too far up the mountain, lots of deer watching, lots of games, puzzles, etc., for all ages and the loft provides the location for all those activities, awesome fire pit for plenty of seating as well as the fire pit on the porch, owners are super responsive, special cudos for generator to come on during power outages that are so common in the area, easiest check in and out ever experienced at this resort area, lovely walking distance to pool and river (minutes), pet friendly, grandkids LOVED the laundry shute, lots of EXTRAS that most rentals don’t have in the kitchen and throughout the home, and many more. Our family had a lovely time relaxing together and enjoyed our annual crab and shrimp lowcountry boil. A winning experience! We have communicated a couple of things they may want to address and the owners said they definitely would for future renters. ##### Teresa S. This place is amazing and slept 8 of us very comfortably. 3 grandparents, 2 parents, and three children. Very beautiful house with great views. The deer are everywhere and very friendly. We enjoyed watching them roam around peacefully. The 2 decks off the back of the house are very large and refreshing with ceiling fans to keep the breeze going. The location to get to is a trek but definitely worth it. The gated community gave us a great sense of security and the amenities are great. Multiple pools, putt-putt, and the arcade were fun to visit. We stayed two weeks in the fall. The colors were awesome! The hosts are very experienced and very responsive. The cabin was wonderful. Plenty of space for the seven of us. Two families total. Four adults and three young kids. The cabin is really easy to get to which is a huge plus when staying in Ellijay. - Saw a cow give birth at Mountain Valley Farms - Went apple picking at BJ Reece - Went to Ft.
