We did have an issue when we got there with getting in the house due to the key pad being dead, but I called the owner and we were able to get that resolved quickly. It is a very cute house and is in a quiet neighborhood on a mountain. The owner was friendly and quick to respond. Hot tub was nice to have but was kind of dirty and could have used a good clean. I also did not like that there weren’t curtains on atleast all of the bedroom windows. Over all it was a nice get away for us, as we would definitely stay here again. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the awful smell in the game room. We noticed it when we first arrived, but it got progressively worse. It was a sewer smell, and the owner said they were working on the sewer lines, so that's probably why. The owner was very responsive and I have no complaints there. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking, and there were a few spices that had been left by previous guests(I'm assuming). I always like that. The house was very clean, and there were plenty of towels which I love! The only things to note are the broken sofa in the game room( missing back legs, sitting on blocks) and the fact that there are no window coverings across the front of the house, and there are houses that could easily see in. We loved the huge windows, but felt very exposed at night when we couldn't see out, but anyone could see in. Overall it was a great little trip, and we would stay here again. ##### Emily A. Had trouble getting onto the property because didn’t have the gate code. Was unable to get in touch with owner on the night of checkin. Luckily another resident let us in. My biggest issue was the water pressure. It was really bad and the house had a weird smell especially in the game room area. Also the carpets in the bedrooms could use a good cleaning. If I could give any feedback to the owner it would be to have a folder with any info needed for guests and remove the carpet for pet friendly property. It is in a beautiful part of northern Georgia. We had a few hiccups with our stay but Shana was very responsive and quick to help. Something to note, especially when trying to find the garbage dumpsters, is that there are 4 different gated entrances to different sections of the community. Access into the community was a little confusing and we could not find an access card to use the pool. Disappointed the host did not reply to our request for help. The maintenance office printer was down and then the office closed for COVID so we couldn't get access. We wish there would have been a guide book or written instructions in the cabin with more info about the cabin, community and town. We found our way around and had a great trip overall. Amazing view with all the amenities that we wanted. Almost at the top of the mountain, so make sure that you are prepared for the climb up the mountain!
