Quaint and cozy 2 bed/2 bath cabin on Walnut Mountain. At Linda's Place you'll find the main floor bedroom with a King-size bed, crib in the closet for the baby, TV, bathroom with heated floor, and private door leading out to the back deck. Walk up the stairs to the loft and find another bedroom complete with queen bed, TV, and bathroom. The living room offers a warm gas fireplace, and a comfy couch to relax and enjoy the views or watch a show on the Smart TV. The kitchen also on the main level is well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and a Keurig. The dining table seats four. The long back deck offers a treehouse experience where you can relax and enjoy the views (wooded view with seasonal mountain view) while sipping a cup of hot chocolate. There is also a picnic table that will easily accommodate 4 people! Downstairs is a spacious game room with a foosball table, 65 inch Smart TV, and kitchenette. There is also a table for board games and puzzles. Step outside to use the stainless steel grill and make a delicious meal for your family, and of course take a dip in the hot tub!

At Linda's Place you are sure to feel rested and rejuvenated as you take in the fresh mountain air! The secluded location offers peace and quiet with plenty of wildlife, especially deer, birds, squirrels, and chipmunks. You'll be just a few minutes drive from complimentary tennis courts, a basketball court, a playground, and a seasonal pool (typically open Saturday of Memorial Day in May til Labor Day in September). There are also several lakes on the Walnut Mountain property where you can fish without a license. There is a trout fishing stream (with license obtained at Walnut Office) at the entrance to Walnut Mountain near the picnic area. You will also find several hiking trails on the property and even a small waterfall.

If you need to do some work during your stay we have complimentary wifi able to handle zoom calls and all basic work essential needs. There are several places to work from in the cabin if you needed to find a quiet nook for that important zoom meeting or call as well.

Walnut Mountain is a gated community just outside of Ellijay, Ga and is known for its mountain views on ‘The Ridge.’ It is also historically know for Jimmy Carters retreat where he wrote several books down by Turniptown Creek.

Downton Ellijay is just a short drive and offers a number of excellent restaurants and antique shops.

Blue Ridge is less than a 30-minute drive and offers the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, great restaurants, boutique shops, and coffee shops.

Amicalola Falls is a 30-minute drive and offers great hiking, picnicking, and of course the falls. If you are truly adventurous, you can hike the 8-mile approach trail to Springer Mountain, where the Appalachian Trail begins. If you desire to stay closer to home, you can also find multiple trails within the Walnut Mountain community.

You can also find white water rafting, tubing, rappelling, golf courses, amazing mountain drives, apple orchards in the fall, and local wineries all at your fingertips.
