CHECK IN 4PM CHECK OUT 10AM This property is located in the Coosawattee River Resort which means you are able to utilize the amenities of the resort including the Rec Center with indoor olympic size heated pool, exercise room, arcade room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, putt putt golf, picnic areas at various parks within the resort and the 3 outdoor swimming pools (during summer season) at no additional cost to you for authorized groups up to 8 people. Please note, it is out of control should one or any of these amenities not be available during your stay and there should be no expectation of any refunds should this occur. None of our properties are within walking distance to the resort and depending on location, could be a 2 minute to 15 minute drive. Welcome to "Jagged Owl", the perfect place to make some lifelong memories! The spacious open floor plan makes this a great cabin for families or friends looking to get away for a great mountain retreat! The great room has a large sectional with a gorgeous gas fireplace as well as a 55" Flat Screen TV to enjoy a good movie. There is plenty of seating throughout the cabin. The very spacious, fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed to create some great meals and the large dining area will seat 8 people. There is also a breakfast bar that seats 4\. In addition to the great room there is a "Georgia Room" right off the great room with another 40" TV. This area would be great for the kids to watch a movie. It is also the perfect place to watch the numerous white tail deer that frequent the backyard. All of the bedrooms are very spacious and there is 1 King Master Ensuite and 1 Queen Master Ensuite on the main level. Downstairs you will find another queen bedroom, an electric fireplace, a game table, a full bath and a separate, large bunk room with door,complete with 2 sets of twin bunks and a foosball table. Right outside the door on the terrace patio is a luxury hot tub! Outside on the main level you have a great screened in porch complete with a dining area to enjoy some meals during warmer weather. There is a gas grill for your enjoyment also, propane gas provided of course! The back yard provides a fantastic fire pit area with seating. Enjoy some star gazing in front of a lovely campfire, telling ghost stories with the kids or relaxing with your favorite beverage. So don't put it off, surprise the kids, treat the spouse and come on up to the "Jagged Owl" and experience what the North Georgia Mountains have to offer. House layout was good, but the management was poor. Attention to detail was really lacking. Location was perfect with other surrounding towns reasonably close by with fun things to do and many trails with different levels of difficulty-ones for the not so avid hiker.to strenuous hikes.Porches were nice for sitting peacefully, reading, listening to music or eating a meal. Kitchen was perfect for cooking quick meals for the family if desired. We have never stayed in this area and found it pretty convenient to Helen and Chattanooga. We enjoyed the stay very much. There is so much room in the cabin. WiFi was solid, and the deer really are right in the front yard. Would happily stay again! Few of tips for those staying: 1\. Apple Maps/Siri will lead you directly to the cabin. Have no fear. 2\. When you get to the gate for the resort, ask for a map. It helps a lot! 3\. DoorDash/Dominos will deliver directly to the cabin. ##### Jared D. We were greeted each morning with several deer in the yard, and even had a momma deer give birth right in the front yard! The cabin itself was clean and stocked exactly as they said, and there was a Walmart very nearby that we could buy groceries from. The directions getting in and out of the resort were tricky, but nothing you couldn’t follow. We just dropped a pin in the driveway and used that each time. As far as the amenities pass for the resort, make sure you request it 3 BUSINESS DAYS in advance. But to be honest, there was so much to do in Ellijay and the surrounding areas, we didn’t even need the pass. The check-out process was super easy - much easier than other properties I’ve visited. All in all we had an amazing vacation and would highly recommend the Jagged Owl!! ##### Angela F. The pictures don't do this property justice, it really is an amazing cabin! My three kids loved the bunk room and we were surprised with how spacious it was. The night we arrived we had a personal phone call to make sure everything was going well, which was appreciated because it was out of hours. I would definitely recommend Jagged Owl to others, it was hard to leave! ##### Melissa W.
