When we originally booked our reservation (about 8 months in advance for two weeks) the washer/dryer was listed as an amenity and then changed a month or so before check in to unavailable. We didn’t quite understand that the issue could not have been fixed by check in and ended up utilizing a laundry mat in Ellijay. We understand mountain living has it’s challenges and unfortunately…we happened to experience two separate days with extended water/electric outages (which impacted our family plans) and after the second incident (new pump or parts needing replacement with estimated repair being two-three days if available), were given an option of moving to another location, but opted to depart early rather than packing up and moving to another property. The property manager was very responsive during these issues and we did receive compensation for the inconvenience, but it did alter the dynamics/expectations for our Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin is spacious, has comfortable beds, downstairs family game room is nice and it has amazing views. It’s fairly close and in between Ellijay and Blue Ridge so convenient for shopping/dining. ##### Linda W.
