Was a perfect room for the weekend. You can walk to most of the amenities. Really enjoyed the stay. If your kids are into sports, definitely take them to daily city train and have a pizza next door.

Staff friendly, rooms clean except the tub did not drain. I let front staff know and they sent someone up to look at it the day we left. Bed comfortable, sheets clean, room was vacuumed.

Old and dated- in dire need of a facelift considering the area it’s located and for what they charge. Entire building looks old and tired. No USB plugs so be sure to have your own adapters but hardly any wall plugs so- good luck! Very large lobby area with breakfast crammed into one corner made it crowded!! Smallest hotel TV I have ever seen.

The man running the desk welcomed us to Ellicottville so warmly. It was so nice especially in this day of age where most people barely recognize you being there.

Good overall, just a couple of annoying glitches
Wyndham is a large chain that can make a significant environmental impact where plastic is concerned. I found it disappointing that this location is still using the small plastic bottles for shampoo, lotion, etc. Wyndham must change to the large bottles for toiletries. It would probably offer a cost savings as well. Second, the front desk person was personable and welcoming but when we got to our room, neither of our key cards functioned. If it is not already in use, the chain should implement a front desk device that allows for verification of the key function. With a late check-in after a long drive, the last thing that a traveler wants is to have to return to the front desk because of an error that could have been avoided. When my husband returned to our room with the reactivated key cards, the clerk accompanied him to ensure that they were working. The bed was comfortable and we had a reasonably descent night. The shower was also good.

Very central to downtown Ellicotville, great location. Breakfast was also a nice surprise...good options, well stocked and kept clean and tidy as folks ate and left. Some parts of the room showed some wear, but it was clean with comfy beds. Even though it was busy due to a town event, area was quiet. Check in and check out quick. Parking lot large and well lit.
