However, the toilet was in need of repair and properly secured to the floor. We were kept awake most of the night the second night we were there with some sort of bird practicing his mating call… very loud and constant loud squawking. There is not a lot of room and no table to eat on if it is cold as the only table is outside on the screened in porch. Also, we had no code to lock the property when we left for the day as we were just told the property would be unlocked when we arrived and to text for a code to lock up when we were ready to leave. The day we left we were given the code and then told not to use it? We were in town for my daughter's graduation from JMU. The cabin was a great alternative from the usual motels in Harrisonburg and was a short 25 minute drive to JMU. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Patrick was extremely kind and helpful. He gave us several recommendations for food and activities in the area which were all incredible!
