We love the peace and quiet. Even though it rained the days we were there, it was still a wonderful experience. We visited some of the nearby towns, visited antique stores and fished. My husband caught a great many different fish in the pond. We also was given a tour of the late bloomers flower garden. I'm sure it would be very beautiful in the spring when the 20,000 tulips are in bloom. The first day we attended a cruise-in. We were not disappointed with our trip in anyway. Loved the fresh eggs and blackberry jam. Barbara and Chris are great hosts. Everything about the home and farm is unique. We will be going back again. It was at the end of a winding road tucked away in the woods surrounded with such a serene environment. It was so peaceful and quiet. The porch of the cabin faced a gorgeous pond facing east. The ducks came to visit each morning. Being a farm girl myself, it was nice to be awakened by the rooster in the chicken coop across the pond crowning. My husband and I loved this respite away from Wi-Fi and the hustle bustle of busy workdays. The host was so friendly and accommodating and easy to reach if needed. The cabin is amazing. The modern updates make it better without taking away from the experience. My daughters absolutely loved everything from the cabin to the animals.
