« We enjoyed our 10-day stay. The sweet house was everything we expected—Clean, well designed and organized, and close to Governor’s Harbor as well as points north and south. The weather was hotter than we expected, but AC worked well. I especially enjoyed daily “workouts in the small and very clean pool. Jethro, who lives nearby, was particularly helpful with suggestions for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend. »

« My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bamboo House. The host (Pascale) was great to work with and provided excellent recommendations for us to help us plan our stay and was quick to reply to any questions throughout. The housekeeper (Olga) was invaluable in allowing us to disconnect as she came daily to refresh the house and even lended a hand with our laundry. Thanks to the onsite generator, even with a spotty island power grid the AC stayed cold, the showers hot, and the TV on to...

« House is very spacious and lots of natural light. The master bedroom's bed is extremely comfortable. However, the A/C in that particular room does not cool as well as the other bedrooms (and the humidity is oddly higher in that bedroom). Not unbearable in early May but I'm not sure that we'd have been very happy with it during the peak of summer. The kitchen and bathrooms are large and spacious. Washer and dryer worked well the couple of times we used them. Extras such as the kiyaks were neat....

« The house was very well appointed and well thought out design on a beautiful oceanside with excellent snorkeling right out front. The check-in process could not have been better. We were met at the airport, brought to the ferry, picked up right away by the property manager with golf cart waiting and brought to the home with no delay. Checkout was just as smooth. The islands of Russell and Spanish wells were stunning and we cannot wait to come back! »

« The location is absolutely outstanding, literally feet in the water, on a beautiful lagoon style beach. Great house, perfectly equipped, the owner Barbara is very reliable and has some good advices to visit the island. Would have just appreciated some deck chairs and free use of kayaks, but great value anyway. »

« This was an amazing property in the heart of Harbor Island! Just a block from the dock, it’s an easy walk to the hotel. It’s an intimate boutique hotel, beautifully renovated in an easy island style, with luxurious appointments throughout. We loved the Honest John bar, the pool, the many outdoor spaces, the delicious breakfast each morning, and of course the beach chairs and umbrellas set up on the pink sand beach each day. We loved it and will definitely be back again! »
