« Lovely hotel, nice sized room, nice sized bar with lounge area and pool table, central location close to town centre, harbour and pier, lovely indoor pool, staff really friendly and helpful, evening entertainment as well, really good value for money, i will book again at some point in the near future but will make sure im not staying right next to the lift as its noisy up until 12am and again from about 6am the following morning. »

« We were in room 1. It was immaculate, big comfy bed Fantastic shower, tea and coffee and a well stocked kitchen that was spotlessly clean. Alexa in kitchen to enjoy music if required. Access was easy and instructions regarding everything were in the folder in the room. Really enjoyed our stay would definitely stay again and recommend as well to family and friends. »

« We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is very attentive and hardworking. They did their best to accomodate our requests. The breakfast was good and has a few options. It is very close to the beach and centre ans also has parking available. »

« The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. The furnishings were old-fashioned, but I thought that gave the place its charm and...
