Plunge Pool and Beautiful Garden room

Loved the plunge pool right outside the bathroom! Beautiful garden views with the big glass doors and windows and the incredibly comfy bed and sheets made for a great stay! Walking across the street to the beach is a great bonus and this is my favorite, friendly place to stay at Cerritos Beach!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. In the morning they has coffee, smoothies, fresh juice and avocado toast made for you. If you love a good bath, the bathtub will not disappoint you. The room is beautiful and bed so comfortable.

Loved our stay

Alex and his staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel is very cool, with a contemporary, industrial vibe and beautifully landscaped grounds. The complimentary vegan breakfast was delicious and great coffee. The location is just up the road from a great surf beach and a quick walk to Barracuda’s, a fun bar restaurant with yummy food. We will definitely come back!

After 13 hrs of driving, Alex welcomed us with a gracious and calming check in experience. He stayed up for our late night arrival and patiently got us settled. His space is beautifully maintained to every detail. All of his staff is welcoming, attentive and thoughtful. Alex is a wonderful hotelier and we highly recommend his property.

Our stay at So Far So Good was nothing short of charming. The entire staff was welcoming and friendly and we loved playing with the dogs. The rooms have such a cool design and are spacious with loads of natural sunlight. The free breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious. And Alex is so kind to offer towels, umbrellas, chairs and surfboards for the beach. Hotel So Far So Good is a lovely oasis!

Loved our stay at So Far So Good. The staff was friendly, the rooms were immaculate and overall there were great tranquil vibes. This was my first time visiting B.C.S. in many years and I was reminded that if you're an early-riser you'll be waiting around for a couple of hours for breakfast / coffee service. Would love to have had a coffeemaker in the room so we didn't have to wait till the kitchen got going around 8am. Also, the bar wasn't open during our stay and as far as we could tell -- their restaurant -- Much Bueno -- was just breakfast. But if you're looking for a boutique Baja experience at a fair price it's definitely worth checking out!

Alex and his staff are lovely and warm people and I wish them well with their new business, but I can only give 3 stars because of false advertising. This hotel had almost none of the amenities it lists on Expedia. There is no bar, no restaurant, no real cafe (breakfast is included - was the same offering every day), no spa. There is definitely no fireplace in the lobby, unless you count the TV screen playing a fireplace scene (no joke). I don't care about this, but I'm including it to demonstrate the extent of the falsities. The "deluxe" suite is listed as 883 square feet. Completely untrue. It is not a suite. There is not a separate sitting area. It is a bedroom and a bathroom. There is no mirror in the bathroom! The "luxury toiletries" included a giant bottle marked "conditioner" and one other jar that was unlabeled. I either washed my hair with body soap or washed my body with shampoo. Also, very peculiar that the staff came by whenever he felt like it to scoop out debris from our private plunge pool, which is right outside of the bathroom, where there are giant windows/doors and only a sheer curtain. Sorry to say, but So Far So Good wasn't all that great.

Plunge pool not heated was very cold and we could not use it, outdoor shower no hot water, no drinking water in room, no restaurant on property, the coffee shop closes at 2pm, but there was no one to make us coffee at 8:30am. Electricity/water/wifi went out so we had to go to a nearby hotel to brush our teeth to get coffee and wifi.

Loved it! It was a stressful drive from Cabo San Jose airport after our plane landed waaaay late and our gas tank was low on the rental car, but… As we pulled into the front Alejandro greeted us with a welcoming smile and introduced us to this beautiful place. Hot tea and fresh smoothie in hand, we found ourselves in a beautifully relaxed atmosphere just a short stroll from the ocean. Great views, sustainable design… Exceptional service and commitment to quality. We will definitely be back.

Near the ocean but working out the kinks

Close to beach. Nice linens and comfortable bed. No coffee in rooms and we couldn’t get any from the open space until almost 9 am. They had problems with hot water (none in morning) They did tell us they were having issues with the water as they are new and it’s their first winter. We understand but we expect hot showers after being in the ocean. It was disappointing but they are very nice and it just seems they aren’t actually ready to be open. Getting the kinks out.

The good: the rooms were modern and fresh. Bed was comfortable. Plunge pool, outdoor shower, clothes rack, usb chargers, open wifi. The bad or disappointing: Hot water is on solar, so no morning showers. Had to run hot water a long time to get hot h20 from roof to the room( not eco ). No mirrors or garbage can in bathroom. No plug for the sink if you want to shave. No control for the AC. Many mosquitoes, so no leaving a door or window open. The unit next to us had puppies and a mother dog roaming around. Puppies howeled in the night and there was squeezy puppy poos in many walk ways . Mother was protective in the day. No evening services to get bottled water or drinks of any kind. Ongoing construction across the street will wake you up bright and early. Side door to the outdoor shower was not secure, Could easily be opened from outside. Main door had a code, that could easily be known by many people; Poor security. No safe. No fridge, tv, or hair dryer. Curtain rods not secured and fell off the wall brackets. This property has a lot of potential, but needs some time to work the bugs out. For the price, stay across the road at the beach front hotel.

Everything was wonderful. Staff, cleanliness, proximity to the beach and a great view from the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. The coffee shop below had a cool vibe. Yummy coffee. The only reason I have a 4 instead of 5 was the intermittent hot water.
