A newly refurbished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with private entrance and own garden, in the heart of Edinburgh. The apartment situated in Marchmont, a trendy area with local shops and bars and only a short stroll across the meadows to Edinburgh's best attractions. It is the prefect base to explore the city.

This ground floor apartment with a private entrance and gardens offers:
a master bedroom with Kingsized bed next door to a full bathroom,
bedroom 2 is a double and
bedroom 3, next door to the shower room, offers a double/single bunk.

The apartment also offers a large lounge, kitchen/diner and a separate utility room

Marchmont:

A charming residential area, almost exclusively being made up of period houses and apartments, with shops bars and restaurants in the area. Marchmont within a short walking distance of the many popular attractions that Edinburgh has to offer is an ideal location to stay.

A max of 4 single people permitted (one per bed). Lead guest to be over 25. No smoking inside, No house parties, hen or stag parties. Only booked guests are allowed in the apartment unless otherwise agreed.

Family vacation in Scotland
Lovely, comfortable rental that suited our family (My wife, myself and our three children ages 6, 10 and 11) very well. Took us sometime in the rain trying to figure out the combination lock on the front door, but after we figured that out, it was a nice experience for 3 days.

Location was great for us, as it was near to friends. It’s possible to walk to the main attractions, but it’s also easy to take the bus. We did both. There’s a convenience store around the corner. Very clean. Comfortable beds and lounging area. Thank you!

Wonderful home
The size and features of this home were perfect for our family of 4. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, spacious baths and kitchen. Several local bus stops are closed indefinitely which was frustrating, It would have been nice to be given a heads up on that. Would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

Small details make this home outshine the others!
Traveling from the US for the first time was a bit overwhelming for our family of five. Laundry was my biggest challenge but this home made it so much easier since it had a separate dryer and washer. Other place we stayed in had a combo unit and it doesn’t dry and I couldn’t get our laundry cleaned fast enough. This home was perfect with its dryer! Another outstanding detail that other places overlook- blackout shutters. With the sun setting at 10pm and rising before 5am, sleep was hard to come by when the room is bright. Not this home… the wood shutters were the perfect solution and a detail other VRBO locations overlook. It’s for these small details that I give this property an excellent rating! The only negative is it’s pretty far from the touristy attractions and the walk is pretty significant uphill trek. The bus system can help with this though and the Meadows park is a perk for that location

Lovely apartment in Edinburgh
We absolutely loved this garden apartment in Edinburgh, and we also really enjoyed the prime location and nearby neighborhood shops and pubs. The apartment is very well appointed and matches the photos. The kitchen is lovely and has everything needed. Jane was a pleasure to deal with, and the check in and access was straightforward. We highly recommend this lovely apartment for a stay in the beautiful city of Edinburgh!

Great Place!
The living space and kitchen were great. The living room is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped. The location was absolutely perfect! Far enough away from the crowded city, but a short walk through the park and right back in the city. We enjoyed walking around the town of Marchmont and Bruntfield. This is a must stay. Highly recommend.

Fantastic flat in Edinburgh
We have stayed in many rentals across the US and Europe, this flat is one of the best we have ever rented. Super comfortable, really well maintained and stocked with everything you could need, we had five adults in our group and had space to spare. Located in quiet neighborhood, a nice private patio in the back, with a nice local pub half a block away, several markets for groceries and a quick walk to the center of Edinburgh. Home Away was very responsive to our every question and request. We will definitely book this flat again when we return to Edinburgh.

This home was such a highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. From the layout with large windows and a private garden at the back to all modern appliances, it mixed the charm of a Jane Austen story with modern day convenience. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful house in great location
We had an amazing stay here! The house is wonderful and whilst it has all mod cons, it also retains its period festures. The house was warm, check in was easy and the host had great communication. Easy walking distance through The Meadows to the town centre and shops just round the corner. It was nice to have a little back garden and 2 bathrooms! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family sanctuary
