We had 3 generations, totaling 8 family members and we had enough space for all of us. The host accommodated our bed needs and communicated promptly. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The stairs are a little wonky but we were just extra careful going up and down. We appreciated that the lights in the living room all had USB ports for charging. There were plenty of towels for everyone. The shared bathrooms are nice and they have towel warmers! One interesting thing about the apartment is that is affiliated with the hotel across the street. I did not realize we would get house keeping and could order room service (we did not, so I can’t say anything about that). The location was quiet and the one incident we had was promptly taken care of by the hotel staff. My sister and her husband went to the hotel breakfast buffet one morning and enjoyed it. One cool thing was that on Wednesday night the Surgeons’ Hall was having a formal dinner, there was a bagpiper at the entrance and we could hear him play from the apartment. We walked everywhere, except for my 87 year old father who took a taxi up to Edinburgh Castle. The hotel called for a pick-up for him. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. ##### Cynthia W.
