It is situated within the centre of the popular village of Gifford in easy walking distance of the shops, park, restaurants and other amenities. The country pursuits which East Lothian is famous for are within easy reach. The Space: The accommodation is arranged over 3 floors and comprises of a bright and spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area with double aspect windows. There are 2 comfortable double bedrooms and a family bathroom on the 1st floor and a further double bedroom with WC on the top floor. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home! My apartment is managed on my behalf by Hotel Around Town, a locally based property management team who work hard to make sure your stay is smooth and comfortable! The Neighborhood: Gifford offers excellent local facilities including two country pubs and two local golf courses. The market town of Haddington, approximately four miles away, provides a wider range of shops, a Tesco supermarket, a leisure centre and a high school. Getting Around: Edinburgh can easily be reached in approximately 35 minutes by car and there are excellent rail links to the City at Drem and Longniddry, which are approximately 15 minutes away by car. Other Things to Note: STRICTLY NO third party bookings allowed at this property. STRICTLY NO reservations for workmen or by large groups. For EVERY reservation, the guest that books MUST be part of the group of guests staying. It is a Village location perfect for families and friendly gatherings. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any bookings that are suspected of breaking this rule. Please note there is no washing machine in the property. Family get together with five adults and our grandson aged nearly 2 had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The town is quaint and in a beautiful setting. We were visiting Edinburgh so had to take a taxi to Haddington then bus to Edinburgh so keep that in mind if you’re not renting a car. This was the closest for a reasonable price at the time. In general it is a nice place to stay, comfortable and clean. A commute to Edinburgh takes about 30 mins. We also went to Falkirk, about 1hr drive which was also a quite easy trip. Disadvantages: a halfbroken iron, the lack of washing machine and a double bed in one of the bedrooms when we put our boys, 15 and 9, together. But otherwise we would recommend it as a really nice place to stay within a reasonable distance from Edinburgh and for more than a reasonable price. ##### Marcin B.
