Sleeps 4 Welcome to Logie Green Road Apartment, an inviting 2-bedroom home nestled in a quiet residential neighbourhood in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh. This bright and modern apartment has an excellent location within about 20 minutes walking distance to the City Centre, and offers a free private parking space - a real rarity in the city! Along the way, in the direction of the Playhouse theatre and shopping district of St James quarter, are charming shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. Following a different route leads to the National Gallery of Scotland on Princes Street. The comfortable living room is well furnished, carpeted for extra comfort and boasts a large leather sofa perfect for relaxing. There is a flat-screen smart TV. The modern kitchen has been well-equipped with everything you need for your self-catered stay in Edinburgh. Appliances include a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, and washer/dryer. Both bedrooms are carpeted for warmth and comfort. The master bedroom offers a spacious king-size bed and plentiful storage within the double mirrored wardrobes. The second bedroom features two single beds, a generously sized dressing table and excellent wardrobe space. A stylish, tiled family bathroom, with a full-sized bath, and an over-the-bath electric shower completes this wonderful home-from-home. Further benefits of the property include complimentary WiFi and electric heating. There is free parking in the building’s private outdoor car park. For grocery shopping, there is a Lidl store about 300 metres away and a large Tesco store just across from it. Please note we do not provide hypoallergenic bedding at our properties. This property operates a key safe, so you can let yourself into the property any time after 4pm. The key safe code will be issued before your arrival. The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already. All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. Layout All on one level, the front door opens up to a spacious hall. The sitting room/dining room and separate kitchen are straight ahead. Both bedrooms are to the left, with the family bathroom to the right. Sleeping Arrangements 1 x king-size bed 2 x single beds A travel cot is available for children up to 2 years old. Exterior This apartment forms part of a modern complex with green spaces around it. Local Area ... a variety of cafes and shops locally. The St James Quarter... a shopper's paradise, also offers a wealth of dining options, cocktail bars, and cinema. The Royal Botanic Gardens are within easy walking distance and home to 70 acres of beautiful landscape. The apartment is on the route of the Water of Leith Walkway... a beautiful walking/cycle path along the river with access to such attractions as the Modern Art Gallery and interesting historic areas of the city for example Stockbridge and Dean Village. The route can be followed to the waterfront in Leith in one direction, or to the city centre in the other. The National Portrait Gallery in Queen Street is less than a mile’s walk away on the route to the city centre. Excellent transport links with train stations and the Edinburgh tram stop (one of the easiest ways to get to and from the airport with fast and frequent services) also under a mile away.
