"We stayed in the new section which is the building behind the main entrance on High St. It was super quiet, the apartments are handsomely appointed and the location was wonderful. So while you're in the heart of a tourist area, you'd never know it. We loved everything about this hotel and it has a great gym."

"Excellent stay at the Cheval The Edinburgh Grand. It is located in the New Town area but it is a short walk to Old Town. We found it was a nice respite to leave the Old Town area due to how busy it is (think Times Square busy). Every person we encountered at the hotel was extremely nice and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh."

Although the apartment is quite small it was a perfect size for us as a couple. The only negative was that the information regarding check-in wasn’t very clear as to which doors we had to use.
