These pillars (also known as flower pots) have been caused by tidal wave erosion and span up towards 70 feet tall. During low tide you can walk along the ocean floor to catch a close up view of their enormous size. As this is a very popular tourist spot, during the summer months you can expect it to be extremely busy. Parking is free but there is a fee to go into the park to see the rocks. If you want to walk on the ocean floor, I recommend that you check their website before you are expecting to leave to view when low tides will occur as this is the only time you can do this. The park is dog-leash pet friendly (meaning keep your dog on a leash and all will be well) - however dogs are not permitted in any of the main buildings such as the gift shop etc. There is a playground area for the kiddies, a small cafeteria style restaurant, gift shop, washrooms, and information station. This property is in disrepair. There was nobody present to check us in and we had to call to find out which room was for us. In the room their was no AC, the ceiling fan was broken and the toilet was leaking. There was also no ice machine.
