Relax on the covered porch, enjoy the spacious yard, and take advantage of the private dock. Ideally located near Hwy 44 and Fish Tales Marina, this well-equipped home features a fully stocked kitchen, breathtaking lake views, and a pet-friendly policy. It comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Situated across from Fish Tales Marina, near the Ritz Carlton, and surrounded by excellent dining options. The longer your stay, bigger discount I am always available by cell phone and will provide to each guest before check in Lake Oconee is amazing every time of the year! From the hiking and biking trails, water sports, fishing, public golfing at Harbor Club, jumping off the jumping rock, award-winning restaurants, there is something for everyone! Loch Nest is located about 15 minutes by car from the "Ritz Gate" and very convenient to The Ritz Carlton Lodge and its award winning Ritz Carlton Spa (which was named one of the Top 5 spas in the US by Conde Naste Traveler Magazine). Nearby eateries include Cafe 44, Filet Steak and Seafood, Silver Moon, Iron Fork Cafe, Lake Oconee Bistro and Mellow Mushroom Pizza. We are directly across from Fish Tale Marina, where you can fuel up, get supplies and launch your boat, or rent one of theirs Our guests have access to the entire home We are on a quiet cul de sac street and quiet cove surrounded by single family homes and are only .5 mile to Hwy 44 where all of the shops and restaurants are located. At the dock, the water isn’t too deep, so it's perfect for fishing or kayaking. Our home offers a private covered porch, large grassy yard perfect for playing games with kids, or letting your dog run around and a dock to store your boat during your stay or to tie up your rental boat. The outdoor space includes a gas grill, dining set and fire pit for our guests to use! The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, a gas range and microwave to use if you choose to cook during your stay. The kitchen and living room feature stunning views of the lake and yard. The interior of the home has been freshly painted and with new decor, new linens, new furniture, and new sheets and towels. The driveway can accommodate at least 4 cars and your boat trailer or RV. We offer laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen including spices and condiments, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and paper towels to get you started. We will consider your 4 legged family members on a case-by-case basis and a $150 pet fee. Please tell us about your pup. We will consider up to 2 dogs and kindly ask that no dogs are allowed in or on any of the beds or furniture. PESTS: This is Georgia, although the property is regularly treated for bugs, understand that some do find their way in occasionally. Although it’s not common, you may see snakes, ants, spiders or other wildlife around the property. We are available from 9AM to 6PM EST every day, and we make every effort to monitor messages after hours. While there is no on-site or after-hours maintenance or staff, we will always do our best to assist. In the case of an emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency services. The floor plan worked out great for us, and the house was well equipped for what we needed. The hostess was easy to communicate with. My husband is not the most successful at fishing but had a few catches just throwing out a line at the dock. I'm not sure if that dock area is typically cleaner than when we were here, but there's no way I'd encourage swimming in that stagnant water. Still, it was nice having the little connection to the lake. I hope they can replace the swing at some point--it was rotted and not safe to sit on. I was glad we brought our camp chairs. The back porch is a lovely place to sit, too.Everything in the house was comfortable and worked well for us. It's a gorgeous spot in an amazing neighborhood. I walked the entire neighborhood almost every morning with our dogs. The houses through there are diverse and fun to check out. The neighbors were friendly. It was just over 2.5 miles if I circled every cul-de-sac and did an out-and-back to the main road. Walking alone with just my dogs, I always felt safe and enjoyed the walk.I know the listing says consumables (like detergent) are provided, but we definitely needed to add a few things for a full week's stay and sizable family. This is not unusual with even our most favorite VRBOs, so it's not a knock against the house, just something to note and be prepared for. ##### Jill W. However at arrival the storm door was locked so entry was impossible which the agent remedied after a call and text. From there it went downhill immediately, broken bed,doors towel rods,along with a huge spill in the oven that smoked the entire home up at first useand the septic tanks out front were so foul you could not use front porch…The agent did offer a small refund and I have pics along with text of all the items mentioned. Even better now the agent has made a fraudulent insurance claim on the broken bed that was damaged when we arrived the she offered to have handyman come repair… …Its listed cheap and I now know why… I will avoid going forward! ##### gary m. We had two families with kids ranging in age from 6-12 and we had plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, smores on the fire, fishing (only caught one small one), billiards, and ping pong. Jeanine was friendly and helpful in accommodating my family’s needs. Sadly, we weren’t “home” much, as we were in town for a baseball tournament and spent most of our time away from the home.
