### Nature lovers playground Rock Island Lake Oconee

Located on the south end of Lake Oconee in a nature lovers playground. This beautiful house is tucked away in a peaceful cove just minutes away from Wallace dam. The dock has a boat lift and a fishing light kept on year-round. The property has a long gravel driveway that leads to a nice yard covered with flower gardens and HUGE ROCKS!! The finished basement has a freshly felted 8 foot pool table. Plenty of parking and room for boat and jet ski trailers. Rocking chair front porch with an amazing view of the lake. The fishing is good year around, and water is great for swimming during the warmer months.  
  
Guests are invited to rent pontoons, ski boats, jet skis, kayaks, canoes and fishing boats from nearby Fish Tales Marina.  
  
Winding River is located on the south end of Lake Oconee. This beautiful house is tucked away in a peaceful cove just minutes away from Wallace dam.  
  
Nearby eateries include the fantastic Copperwood Pizza, Georgia Butts BBQ, Cafe 44, Mellow Mushroom Pizza; Filet Steak and Seafood, and lots of great new eateries popping up in Greensboro and Eatonton.  
  
Lake Oconee is a 1500 acre vacation development with 80 miles of shoreline on beautiful Lake Oconee. Lake Oconee provides Georgia's most ideal environment for the outdoor enthusiast. Perfect for all types of water-sports, from boating and sailing to swimming and skiing, the waters of Lake Oconee are best known for excellent fishing.  
  
Located in the family-friendly neighborhood of Winding River, just around the bay from the famous Lake Oconee "Jumping Rock". This is the perfect nature lover's getaway to kick back, enjoy some family time or a relaxing week away from it all.  
  
On the main level there is 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, plus fully stocked kitchen and living room. Upstairs you will find 2 generously sized bedrooms, plus a hall bathroom. Both bedrooms have an extra twin mattress for those traveling with little ones. The basement has another bedroom, pull out queen couch, bathroom, pool table and plenty of space to entertain.  
  
Outside of the home, you will be on a private cove with access to the main water, brand new private dock with lift and water depth is 10 feet deep, kayaks to experience the calm water and a fire pit to roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories. Enjoy relaxing, reading a book or a glass of wine at the many outdoor spaces.

You will have access to the entire house to enjoy with family and friends. If you would like to explore the Lake Oconee area, there is plenty of fishing, golfing, or historic attractions, for everyone in the family to enjoy, like nearby Old Salem Park, Historic Uncle Remus Museum, Lake Oconee Brewery or the many great restaurants in the area.  
  
You can even boat to some of the different dining options on the lake or take a short drive to one of the fabulous restaurants around Lake Oconee. Grocery stores are around 15 minute drive if you would rather just grill/cook and hang out on the large deck.  
  
Occupant is obligated to abide by all of the requirements of the Putnam County ordinances, state and federal law, and such a violation of any of these rules may result in the immediate termination of the agreement and eviction from the premises, as well as potential liability for payment of fines levied.
