The space is very well kept and cozy. The only downsides are the noisy area directly outside the door (a bar and grill), the parking isn't great, the entrance is in an alley with dumpsters from said bar and grill, and the view of the water isn't as great as I had hoped but overall the property manager and the room itself were great.

A relaxing getaway.
Overall it was great. We have a small dog who enjoyed the fenced yard area. I could write tons about how good it all was. Also such a nice location regarding getting out to eat etc. I only have two small suggestions. The fridge is NOISY. It was so loud even with the bedroom door closed we had to turn it off the last two nights. The only other thing is just a small suggestion. Some small entertainment items like playing cards, backgammon, or a crib board would be nice. Maybe even a thrift store puzzle or two. Just a thought. Maybe a couple teaspoons as the big spoons are too big for coffee but that’s a small thing no pun. All in all we had a nice time and enjoyed the place very much. Oh one last thing. We noticed a trail of tiny ants coming from behind the fireplace. I vacuumed them up and that helped. We would definitely recommend your place.

Lovely spot with amazing view.
This condo is in the heart of town with an amazing view of Fishing Bay and East Sound. The unit itself is nicely decorated and perfectly proportioned and well stocked. We will be back!

We went to this location for our last night on the island. We needed somewhere to stay at picking up our girls from camp. This unit said it sleeps 4 but i would say the pullout sofa bed is only good for young children as the mattress was less than optimal. I would suggest bringing a topper for it if you're thinking of staying more than one night. The actual bed in the bedroom was very comfortable! The little deck overbooking the water was really nice for morning coffee. Perfectly located next to all the amenities in downtown little Eastsound.

We would definitely stay here again, easy check in, perfect location, and an amazing view! The Suite has everything you need, furnishing are contemporary, and stylish. Note* mattress could be replaced, but that didn’t change the 5 stars I gave.

Can’t beat location!
This property was perfect for our family of 4. We were very happy to find it well stocked and very clean. The furniture is comfortable, everything in the kitchen and bath is updated and very clean looking, and it was very helpful to have stove and mini fridge. The deck view is lovely and though we didn’t use it there is a little chimenea and BBQ outside. Bed was comfortable. Pull out couch was great to sit on but bed was a bit thin and springy—hard to complain about a pullout couch though :) TV was great and there is a little fireplace as well. Only complaint was the coffee table which is missing a hinge and popped open unless it was weighted down.

An absolutely perfect place to stay. Great view and kitchen, which made it hard to leave the patio. Centrally located next to everything in Eastsound, it made for a easy spot to explore the rest of the island from.

Beautiful Eastsound property - Close to everything you could want!
This property is ideal if you want to park your car and explore Eastsound on foot. Services are nearly 100% open during Covid and all require masks and social distancing. It was so wonderful to see compliance and patience everywhere! This unit is perfect for one with a pet. Would be cozy, especially in rainy months, for two. Brillantly clean and comfortable inside and out. The photos show your view and know that the beach just below is not your typical tide action. No wave sounds and stagnant. City beach a short walk to the West is ideal for hanging out! Know that you are packed in to this space with commercial activity behind you and on each side. The Madrona Restaurant is conveniently RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR. The good news is this is a STELLAR restaurant with a lovely deck. The not so good news is they are open 11AM - 9PM and you hear everything, including the compressor on their roof. It is the noise that knocked this down to 4 Stars for me. The only serene time is sunrise to ~ 10AM. That said, Susan was an excellent Host. She was responsive to my noise comments and we agreed in the cooler seasons with buildings closed up, the noise may not be an issue. I will definately work with Susan on my future visits to Orcas to find another lovely property!

What a great stay! Prime location to enjoy all the Eastsound has to offer. Walk to all shops and restaurants right outside your door. The patio off our room looked right over the sound. The Captain’s Suite was like our own little apartment. Very thoughtfully decorated with an appropriate beach theme. Comfortable, well designed home away from home feel. Very, very clean. We’ll be back for a longer stay. Only minor inconvenience was construction that was going on in and around the building which started pretty early in the AM. The upstairs guests footsteps are also audible if there are guests staying above you. Highly recommend for any couple looking for a little getaway with easy access to everything you need!

We had a great time at the Sea Loft Captain’s Suite condo! Loved the location, deck especially. Very clean and comfortable place to stay for a family of four. Easy and thorough directions from the owners too. A couple of minor suggestions—tub drain is slightly clogged and kitchen could use a toaster, whisk and kitchen shears. Thank you!

Just what we needed!
We spent 4 amazing days on Orcas Island. We went on a hike around Cascade Lake, biked Lopez island (hint; it's not flat!), attempted to kayak but it was too windy that day- drove up to Mount Constitution for one of the best vista's I've seen any where! AMAZING-- had wonderful pastries and breads at the Brown Bear Bakery. This was a magical trip after months of staying home and locked in our yard doing yard work! The Captain's Suite was perfect! The view from the porch was to die for! The room is sparse but for the two of us it was perfect. We made a couple of meals in the little kitchen and had everything we needed. Everything was clean and sparkling on our arrival so no concerns at all! We used the air conditioner twice in the middle of the day to bring the temp down but never needed it to sleep. There's a fan which I need to sleep so I was very grateful for that. I'm sure we will return to this magical gem of an island in the future.

Centrally Located Secluded and Quiet
Located in the center of town, yet it was secluded and quiet and easy access to several stores and restaurants. Equal distant to both sides of the island which allowed for great driving and visiting all that the island has to offer. The deck was very private and a lovely view nad a perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

I thought the unit was on water. It shares a public beach down a long flight of stairs. Not that well equipped. Next food to a busy restaurant.

We're sorry this unit didn't meet your expectations. It features a private patio directly on the waterfront bank, and in this case the water itself is about 12 feet down the stairs. Throughout the islands the waterfront is generally rocky, requiring stairs or trails to get down to the beach. As far as amenities go, we welcome any specific suggestions from guests and through the years have equipped our spaces with everything we could think of to enhance their experience.

Harry Potter retreat
Great location to walk all of town with great shopping and food. We came for a weekend break to relax and try the Elusion Escape Room. The suite was clean with all amenities and lovely deck view.

The Captain’s Suite suited us perfectly, along with our wee dog. The bathroom was roomy, the kitchen well set up, and the bed linens just right! Being in town allowed us to get lunch, coffee, and browse a bit. We primarily spent our days hiking so coming home to the views and private patio (fully enclosed) was a delight. We plan on coming back again next year!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the beautifully furnished apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. And such a beautiful view. We enjoyed walking every where because of the central location. Nice little restaurants were close by and the town is very charming. We stayed 3 nights with neighbors upstairs That we could hear, but not unusually loud. It wasn’t until our last night that the neighbors were sooooo sooo loud, up and making noise up until 1:45am! Unbelievably inconsiderate. I finally called the owner to let her know, left a message, don’t know if she got it or not. I could not sleep, so frustrating! I don’t think the sound barrier between floors is very good. If that’s not an issue for you, this place is fabulous. But for that reason I minus 1 star.

Our sincere apologies we didn't get your message. It is frustrating when people are so inconsiderate. We do have insulated double wall construction between units to help soundproof, and issues are rare, but it's regrettable that this occurred during your stay. We appreciate the feedback.

Great Vacation!
Excellent place to stay. East Sound location is very convenient with a nice view of the water. Suite was very clean, reasonably quiet, and had a good supply of basic kitchen tools if you want to do your own cooking. Plenty of hot water and a good sized bathroom. Be aware that that the fridge is small (about 3ft), particularly the freezer, so be careful how much stuff you plan to store. I didn't run out of fridge space even with enough food for a week, but I did max out the freezer space with five items. PS - the hairdryer is in the closet, it took me a few minutes to find.
