Great location in the center of Easton. Staff was professional and friendly. Really good restaurant onsite. The room was neat and comfortable. Parking was extremely convenient. The only fly in the ointment was it seemed like forever to get reasonably hot water in the shower.

Staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfy. The general ambience of the hotel was lovely too. It was fairly pricy, though we did book quite late. We ate in the bar area and the food was good and there was a lovely atmosphere (though service was a little slow). Overall a very pleasant evening.

My husband and I have stayed at the Tidewater many times, and it’s always a wonderful experience. The rooms are spotless; the staff is courteous; and,overall, the hotel is beautifully appointed. We love it’s location and close proximity to the Avalon Theater!

It was okay, but air conditioning was not working the first night and it was miserable. Staff suggested keeping curtains closed so the sun didn’t heat up the room and maybe opening windows at night. Gave us a small oscillating fan. Between the heat and the street noise from the open window, I slept maybe 3 hours. They got the ac fixed on day two, but still no ability to adjust temperature in individual rooms. The location is great for the attractions, and literally right across the street from the Avalon. But I wouldn’t stay again.

Relaxing Getaway

Beautiful hotel in a great downtown location in historic Easton. Friendly, courteous staff. Highly recommend dining in the Tidewater's on-site restaurant - Hunters' Tavern. Delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent wait staff. A wonderful place for a relaxing couples getaway.
