« Stayed three nights. Amazing views over the marsh, sightings of eagles, willets, skimmers, sandpipers, plovers, and more without leaving the house. Super clean home, well stocked and welcoming. Quite remote, Just the way we like it. Host could not have between more responsive and helpful. »

« We had a great stay! The property manager/owner were super nice. We visited with our one year old and the owner even helped us track down some diaper cream when we were in a bind. House was equipped with some toys for her to play with too. Plenty of space for a visiting family and the house has lots of charm! It's a quick drive into Cape Charles where tehre is plenty of parking even on a holiday weekend. »

« My cousin and I stayed in the cottage for a girls' weekend. We adore it! We wish we could live here forever! It is clean and comfortable and better than the photos represent. We especially love the layout and charming decor. It is very close to the quaint little town. We enjoyed lunch on the deck at Mallard's. We had lots of fun at The Blarney Stone for karaoke. We highly recommend this cottage! »

« Beautiful property, fantastic location. Incredible sunset views from the deck; we also saw porpoises, lunes and herons. Universally comfy beds (since no reviewers have mentioned them before!!). We had ages from 12 to 73, and we all slept very well. Also, this house is the best stocked stay in our decades of renting homes for family spring breaks: hand soap, bath products, paper towels, toilet tissue, and a great selection of cooking utensils. Quiet, private. Great. »

« We enjoyed our first time in Cape Charles and hope to go back to spend more time. This rental is a very charming older home in a neighborhood filled with the same! The home had everything we needed inside and landscaping and w wonderful front porch to enjoy outside. Loved that we could park the car and walk to shops, restaurants and to the beach. Looking forward to another visit. »
