From this lovely property, you'll have wonderful access to Sandy Neck Beach only a mile north, with serene public lands and the Sandy Neck Lighthouse just a few miles beyond. Stroll home from the beach each afternoon to be greeted by an outdoor shower, a small front patio, and a back deck where you can light the grill, kick back and relax, and continue to soak up the summer sun. Inside, the house is bright and welcoming, offering a country-inspired kitchen with butcherblock countertops, a six-person dining room table, and space for more casual meals and snacks at the breakfast bar. As the day's swimsuits and beach towels spin in the washer/dryer, you can set up a board game in the front living room, stream a movie on the smart TV in the sunroom, or head outside to roast marshmallows around the firepit. Evergreen is scheduled to maintenance the yard every Wednesday during summer. THINGS TO KNOW There's an outdoor shower at the house. The one full bathroom is upstairs on the second floor. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. It is walking distance to the gate at Sandy Neck, so I would imagine it would be fantastic in the summer (we were there at Christmas). It was perfectly situated for us to use as a base for visiting family on the upper and midcape. And it's a dog friendly house; it was a pleasant surprise to see that the yard is fully fenced! Loved spending time there no matter what time of day. Did a bonfire one night, able to walk the dog in designated areas in the morning and evening, and have him there with us during the day too. Appreciate being able to have the dog at the house too. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed and the grill was nice. Outdoor shower was amazing. The check-in and out was seamless. The kitchen was stocked with anything we would need, as we cooked most evenings. However, the location is close enough to great restaurants and anything you'd want nearby. The yard, while small, was fenced in should you bring your dog. The outdoor shower was also a great feature that we enjoyed. It is a short and pleasant walk to a wonderful beach that also has off-roading access with appropriate permit. Very private, but neighbors were friendly when going past. Really close to the beach and a quick drive to the canal and boardwalk. Kitchen was well stocked and furniture was newer and comfortable. Jul 29, 2025 #### Lovely hideaway We had a great few days at this escape with our newborn and our dog in tow. The place was ideal for our needs and was a great jumping off point to explore the cape. Outside could be maintained more, needed mowing and a few new plantings. Loved the town and the restaurants we ate in and of course the Tree House brewery. We plan to return! ##### Jean A.
