« Oh, wow! Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad… The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better. »

« Absolutely fabulous place to stay on the South shore! 10 minutes from gorgeous Bayswater Beach/Park. Alan and Brooke went above and beyond to make our stay superb. Cottage was cozy, comfortable and spotless! We couldn't have asked for more! Highly recommend! »

« The property was stunning and the hosts amazing. It lacked a number of things that make life comfortable such as curtains (we were up with the sun), a place to unpack or even put a suitcase other than the floor, end tables and reading lamps, microwave etc. To be fair there was no microwave listed so it's on me that I didn't notice. « We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the South Shore Oasis. David thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and at home. The house has a very well appointed kitchen, gas BBQ, portable fans in many rooms, plenty of bath and beach towels and games for kids. He also spoiled our dog with treats and his own bed. The property is located on the main road to Chester, centrally located for day excursions to Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove. »

« Overall we had a great stay and the owner was quick to respond and even took the time to meet up. The property has a couple of really nice decks and it seems the prevailing wind is towards the house which has a nice cooling effect, and will push boats back towards shore in case legs are tired. Many sights are within 25-60 driving if the property. Cleaning could have been better and the lack of wi-if (was not listed as amenity, but we felt it’s a normal expectation nowadays) was disappointing...
