"Room was nice, but went to go have a couple drinks at the bar and no one was there. We waited a good 15-20min before going to hyvee and instead had drinks in our room."

"The house met all our needs and then some. Set up nicely and stocked with things we never would imagine. Would definitely stay there again if ever back in the area."
"We stopped here for a night while traveling. The room was clean and easy check in. We like the open to the parking lot because we have a dog. You have to remember this is an older motel so the lighting is darker. We loved a TV that actually worked and we didn't have to mess with a dish."

"We loved staying in this old historic home and learning about the history of it. Everything was as listed under the description. It was beautiful and very comfortable! We could walk to the downtown area for restaurants and coffee shops!"
"We stay here whenever we visit family and always appreciate the cleanliness and quiet of Brookstone. The manager and other personnel were super friendly and even had an air pump for our balloons and a box of nice toys for our nieces' kids to play with!! We appreciate the fruit at breakfast, though the menu did not vary the entire 4 days we were there:-) All in all, a very nice stay!"
