The apartment is literally high up on a hill overlooking Hodges Creek Marina below and the Beef Island Airport across the bay. You can't beat the view!!! Of course, that means a steep climb up the hill (at least, relative to what we are used to) to get there. There is plenty of AC in the bedroom and we found the trade winds blowing through the living room very pleasant and comfortable. That portion of the apartment doesn't appear to have AC and we didn't need it but if that is a deal breaker for you, then be advised. My wife and I would be more than pleased to stay there again the next time we visit Tortola. We were able to enjoy the view from the deck at the back of the property. Alfreda and her family were so kind and went out of their way to welcome us and assured that we made it down the "hill" without issue. Claude was a wonderful and charming taxi driver, always open to a stop at the store. The house is very well-stocked in terms of cooking utensils and supplies. It was impeccably clean. Claude drive us around and gave us history of the island. Recommend dinner at Loose Mongoose which was wonderful! Apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. Drive up to the top of the hill was a little difficult but Claude was a pro. Woke up to the most amazing view. We were allowed to soak up the view and leave on our schedule.
