The ocean views cannot be beat as you enjoy them straight from the large, open living area. The wood-burning fireplace will keep you warm on those cooler nights, and you'll still be able to hear the sound of the crashing waves while you play board games or read one of the provided books. There is also a full kitchen for easy meal preparation, a furnished patio with a gas grill, and plenty of space for dining and relaxing indoors and outdoors. Located right on the water, you may never want to leave this home's gorgeous vistas, but if you venture out, you'll find the Ocean Point Preserve just a half-mile away. The town center is less than four miles away, where you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. THINGS TO KNOW The home has been upgraded with additional heat pumps which provide cooling and heating throughout the entire cottage. During the off-season (Nov 2023 - April 2024) this property will undergo renovations affecting the twin bedroom. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great deck to hang out on with ocean views. Walked to the beach (1 mile) and found sea glass and heart shaped rocks. Town is close 6 miles. Booth Bay Lobster Wharf and Booth Bay brewery were a favorite. The aquarium is small but we loved that! Little self serve coffee shop up the road you have to visit. From the first arrival and hugs to the goodbyes, we enjoyed this place so much. Vacasa and the owners we're very attentive we never felt alone. The welcome basket was wonderful too! Trouble being the shower head holder fell off in two bathrooms and hit us each on the foot plus the shower head fell and hit us in the head. Jul 31, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Perfect Family Celebration This was a family gathering to celebrate the 80th birthday of the family patriarch, and it couldn't have been a more perfect place to gather. The kitchen and outside grill was ideal for preparing eat-in meals. The view is gorgeous. Being outside of Boothbay Harbor and its flock of tourists was also a big plus. Jul 29, 2022 #### Location and views are incredible! The house is perfectly situated overlooking the bay and islands- so peaceful! There are few cars and it's great to stroll along the coast enjoying the sea breeze and views. The house is set up for large gatherings and worked well for us, though it is a bit dated- but our large family so enjoyed spending time together here. We'd come back again. ##### betsy b.
